Curious if anyone knows what else is below the carpet of the rear seat. I was considering trimming the carpet and building a box that would fit in there across the entire rear seat and building a rack and everything into it. The box would sit over the edges of the trimmed carpet so it would look normal for the most part. I don't have my truck yet so I haven't been able to measure or check anything but was hoping I could fit 2 Adire 8's or maybe 4 high excursion 6.5-7" subs or something. I kind of wish they designed the rear seat more like the F150 though lol, then we could just do a seat raise and slide a box in.

I guess the trans tunnel intrudes a bit, so it would complicate things a bit, but still probably possible.

That looks very nice and clean.
I ordered the sub enclosure from Australia, the Kicker KXA 800.1 from Amazon, The Hertz Mille Pro 250 woofer then I got the plug and play adapter from Soundsgoodstereo web page. Works amazing. No cutting into wires. Sounds fantastic

Thanks for sharing this. I feel like I will go this route rather than paying 1000$ for the crutchfield version. How well does that sub box fit under the rear seat? Is it really that perfect? I think I would still go for the JL 10TW1, but at least this way it will only cost like 500$ instead of 1000$.

Yes, it’s a great fit. Probably best to sound deaden that area as much as possible to reduce rattles.

Fits perfectly in the space, the seat bottom doesn’t touch the grill of my speaker. I’m completely satisfied. As far as what brand of speaker you’ll use, I think it’s more important to match the amp to the speaker, regardless of brand.

Just an FYI the JL 10TW1 does not fit in the Australian Stealt-tech box. The subwoofer is too deep and will cause the entire box to not fit. Ask me how I know lol

Yeah I meant to post something about this. I also reached out to the eBay seller regarding the fitment of the TW1, and he confirmed it won't fit in their box.

I ended up ordering the Crutchfield JL audio stealth box and it arrived less than a week later. Seemed to have plenty of stock. I am going to order the Kicker LOC from Sound Good Audio and run that setup. Will post on progress likely done in Q4.

https://www.crutchfield.com/p_13694684/JL-Audio-Stealthbox.html. This ought to work just fine!👍.
I'm 99.9% sure the 19up box will fit the new 24. I've got one in a 22 ranger that I'm robbing some parts from. They look identical. The radio sounds really good to me, way better than my factory b&o raptor 150 18 speaker one did (i swapped it out and added subs). My RR sounds good enough, im putting in that sub box and an amp, and thats it. The pic with the sub in it, is from my 22, the other is from new truck.

Sounds good audio makes a plug and play patch cord, add the kicker keyloc and it’s super easy from there.

How did you get that subwoofer to fit? Is that the shallow mount version? Did you use polyfill to gain lower frequencies as the shape mount says it needs 0.6 cu ft, and the enclosure measures 0.37?

I did something crazy because I had a hard time finding a prefab sub box for under the seat besides the JL $1K option. I already had a 10" subwoofer just need the sub box. I ordered this all the way from Australia. Total cost was $180 which honestly $60 being shipping is not a bad deal. It only took a week to arrive and fits perfect. Just have to remove the storage bin. They have 8" and 10" options.

Thanks for this find! I just ordered for for my 2024 XLT hahaha!

Can confirm that it fits exactly as in the 19-23 models. Seat latches as intended from factory, and space still there to let out the boom boom.

How did you tie it in with factory system? Did you just disconnect the factory sub and run the wires to new sub?

Wrong one, kicker keyloc and patch cord from sounds good audio
how does the Kicker keyloc integrate into the system? I do not have a factory sub on my 24 XLT.
