I believe tire sizes can vary between manufacturers. The Falkens look bigger than the Mickey Thompsons and according to Tire Racks listed specs, they are 1/2“ inch bigger in section width despite both being 265/70s. The BFG K02 are showing the same size as the Mickey Thompson. I think that is where the difference is... at least I hope so because I ordered these wheels too.
I went to Falken and BF kO3 web sites and both width are 10.7”
Measuring stock rims last night with a true 1/2” stock of oak had no wiggle room between the knuckle and tire. That said this rim is same offset only 1”wider = 1/2” each side that means any tire stock size of 10.1 or wider will rub
Anyone here use a wheel spacer?
I checked a few name brand web sites direct and they show no support for a 25

I hope this isn’t too egregious of a thread hijack, but I looked through all the wheel options in the OP’s link and saw a set of Method wheels. Does anyone know where to get a center cap like the ones in ford’s catalog have? They say “ford performance” but I’d be happy with a ford logo, or just “ford”. The Method center caps seem kind of big and I haven’t found any aftermarket center caps and all Method seems to have are original replacements that say “method”.

The 265/70/17s are really tight but I have not had any rubbing at all. No clearance for chains, that's for sure.

Guy at Discount thinks there may be different spec between the non raptor 4x4 trims from XLT to lariat and FX4? I'm not sure but with mine we could not get a piece af paper through it. was that tight.

I bought the lariat over the raptor for features I wanted and a future look with rims level and things, figuring I would save a buck. Now I'm wishing I bought the raptor lol

All the stock wheels either 18 or 17" are 7.5"wide with 55mm offset. The Ford Performance wheels are 8.5" wide with the same offset, so all the increase in width is inboard.

The “ford performance” wheels are 5g raptor wheels. They have the same width and offset as 6g raptor wheels, but a different spoke design.

I can’t help you with clearance questions on non-raptor, but I can confirm spacers work well.
I’m running borne/mishimoto 30mm spacers on my raptor for an equivalent +25 offset.
No problems with spacers, just make sure you get forged hubcentric ones, and torque to spec plus recheck. After the initial torque checks. I will retorque spacers twice a year when i swap winter and summer tires.

Here is my raptor with the spacers and my winter tires. 285/70r17’s on stock 5g ranger 17x8 +55 wheels.

I'm waiting on my set to arrive, but based on what I've read here, it sounds like the offset isn't going to allow them to fit was we had all hoped. Very disappointing considering Ford lists them as for 19-24 Ranger 4x4.
Thinking about a small 3/8" Bora spacer because I really like these wheels, but unsure if the stock wheel studs are long enough.
Can anyone confirm or deny they'll work?

Yep, I was using them in the summer with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 265/70/17". I use the stock Lariat wheels in with my winter tires.

So can’t help wonder why yours fit. I have seen with Nissan they source parts out to different vendors and end up with different specs. Not sure if ford does this??
On the flip side I found another rim that fits the Ranger but is 8” with 42mm offset.
If you have a chance can you look what your offset is? It’s stamped on the inside the rim. Thanks

I will try to take a look. They are in the shed for the winter, but not hard to get to.

So I found pretty much the same ford oem rim, different spec that should work if I did the math right, lol
17x8" 42mm offset vs my stock 18x7.5" 55mm
That gives me 1/4" more clearance inboard vs my stock lariat rims = 1/2" space between the new tire and kick the whole tire out 3/4"
Cost more than post #1 in this thread but I like the look. Should get them in another week or so. Now waiting on ford performance to own up on the advertising mistake that's costing me time and money.

@Truckin what size tire did you determine will fit with stock 4x4 suspension, no lift or level?

A disclaimer is I only know my stock lariat have 1/2” space between the knuckle and tire.
The performance rims in post 1 are 1” wider and that puts the tire right on my knuckle. This rim is 42mm that pushes everything out.
my lariat may be abnormal since the other poster has these rims and fit fine.
I already bought and paid for 265/70/17 so that’s what’s going on. What I see in a majority is guys are running this size on stock xlt rims just fine.
