I finally had a chance to install the Ford Performance functional beadlock rings.
My wife bought them for me during the Black Friday sales on the Ford.com website.
Ford had 25% off on the website for Black Friday, M-1021-F15RB, normally $225 each, with the 25% off they were $168.75 each.
We used the Ford Pass points from her 2024 Bronco Wildtrak and bought 2 rings, and then used the points for my 2024 Ranger Raptor and bought the other 2 rings, we spent $300 bucks for all for rings!
I love the way the wheels look with functional rings!! Took a few before and after pics.

They look very cool, I assume you plan on airing way down for deep sand? What pressure do you plan to use? Do you plan to do routine maintenance by completely removing the rings regularly to keep them from freezing in place from beach salt corrosion? Did you install stem extensions?

My local Discount Trie store really doesn’t like true beadlocks , I had them mount snow tires on my BLC wheels (with the decorative trim rings removed) and they actually asked about them. Here is mine with no rings at all, the look is very similar to yours. I did not bother to paint the circumference where the rings were, these wheels will get beat up if I install chains….

How did they balance them without the beauty rings?

I had beadlocks on our last two Jeeps, Dirty Life beadlock wheels on the first one, and the second was Jeeps xtreme recon pkg with factory beadlock capable wheels that we installed the functional rings on.
We did some off roading with the Jeeps, not to extreme, I‘ve never had them aired down below 20-22 psi.
On our jeeps I retorqued the beadlock bolts around 100 miles after installing them, rechecked around 500 miles and then ever 2-3000 miles, although I never had any loosen up.

???? Removing the rings doesn’t affect balance, and the wheel weights go on the inside of the rims. Each ring and its hardware weigh almost five pounds, I chose to not deal with that much extra unsprung weight. I hate beadlocks, if you don’t need to air WAY down, they are just bling IMHO, and a long term maintenance nightmare..

I assumed when they mounted your snow tires they rebalanced everything and the rings were not on the rims correct? Wouldn’t adding the beauty rings after balance through the whole balance off. Just curious.

Can you install them on the wheel in the same way as the original ring as a non-bead lock ?

The functional ring does bolt on in place of the original ring, but the outside tire bead has to be moved from inside the rim to the outside of the rim, so that the functional ring clamps the tire bead between the outside of the rim and the functional ring.

If you just remove the original ring and just bolt on the functional ring in it’s place, without moving the tire bead to the outside of the rim, you would have a gap between the ring and the rim.

I hope that I explained it where it makes sense.

Running the trails up here in N Michigan, where the sand can be deep with tree roots mingled in, popping a bead on a tire is something you don't want to experience.
Cruising the malls - it's bling.

May I ask how are they fitted on the OEM Raptor Wheels? I see the number of bolts on the OEM beauty rings and the number on the Ford Bead Locks. Never fitted them before, so I’m not aware of their mounting procedure or install.🇺🇸

The wheels have all the necessary bolt holes already in them, hidden under the beauty rings. Since the factory rings are just for appearance, they don’t use all of the bolts, helps cut down on weight, and cost.

Look at the link for the instructions on installing the beadlock rings and it should make sense then.

So I can just remove the rings off the beadlock capable wheels and the truck is good to go, no further work needed? Saving some weight on my wheels sounds nice and I really like the way they look.

You can remove the factory beauty rings off of the beadlock capable wheels and run the wheels without them.

It would probably be advisable to have the tire balance checked without the beauty rings installed to make sure the balance is ok. If the balance is off, they can rebalance them while checking them.
