I went back and forth and decided to use Aux 1. For no other reason than giving me the flexibility to turn off.Which method of install did you utilize the fusebox or the other recommended?![]()
They definitely look better than the eBay specials I got. Appear to be less hot-spotty plus I already have LED failures on mine.I went back and forth and decided to use Aux 1. For no other reason than giving me the flexibility to turn off.
Thanks again Ranger/Hobb for the tip on the source.
I just got mine from F150Leds and maybe I misinterpreted the 'sticking out' with them actually sitting in front of the grill slot, because mine do not insert at all. So not sure if I was sent the wrong kit. I will definitely be returning, they look terrible.Yea I was not exactly thrilled with that answer but sounds like they not planning to make the lights for us as a ready to plug and play perfect fit many of us were really hoping for.
On the bright side I guess for me, I already bought there F150/Ranger Gen 3 lights and installed the lights on my RR.
So, all I will need to do is follow their instructions once they come out with them, or hopefully an instruction video as to how make the lights I have fit better. I am willing to give that try.
Can you take a picture? Yea, they think they fit I guess because some of us made them fit.I just got mine from F150Leds and maybe I misinterpreted the 'sticking out' with them actually sitting in front of the grill slot, because mine do not insert at all. They do not insert at all. Photo of test fit, but I also did flip it and tried the actual side. They are not tapered so doesn't matter, was trying to make sure the wire wasn't keeping it from pushing in. Confident the bit of red tape covering the adhesive is not the culprit. These clearly are not made specifically for the Ranger and should not be advertised as so. Disappointing considering the premium price. Hopefully they will cover the return shipping due to their false advertising. Can you take a picture? I was planning to purchase from them.
Thanks, a lot! I'll wait for a revision. Was about to pull the trigger soon. They do not insert at all. Photo of test fit, but I also did flip it and tried the actual side. Ah I see now. Thanks for sharing how you forced them to fit in. They really shouldn't be advertising these as Ranger specific.Yea, they think they fit I guess because some of us made them fit.
I had to pull the double sided foam tape off, then jam/wedge them in there as far as I could get them then zip tied the wire harness in tight on the back side of the grill, that wire harness and zip Ike’s are all thats holding mine in Place. Not really ideal.

Yea, I tried my best to relay to them that they do not really fit the Ranger Raptor well at all, and thought they were going to come out with a light that does fit, that is until, there latest video, and I questioned them on it, they more or or less said they fit. That others have installed them, well I am one of those others and would certainly never tell anyone they fit well, or fit properly, they have to be customized to make them fit really well.Ah I see now. Thanks for sharing how you forced them to fit in. They really shouldn't be advertising these as Ranger specific.
I think I may order these here soon. Did you do the single color? The dual amber / white version are a unique design but not sure I like them enough to burn both Aux 1/2 for them.I went back and forth and decided to use Aux 1. For no other reason than giving me the flexibility to turn off.
Thanks again Ranger/Hobb for the tip on the source.
I think I made a mistake not getting the duel color set especially since I’m not planning on adding anymore lights or gadgets needing an aux switch.I think I may order these here soon. Might pull the trigger on the Bi-LED Projector Fog Lights Upgrade along with them.
