I have this one installed on mine and I love it.
top notch quality and it feels light off-roading.

Looks good. I ordered an Alu-cab that will be installed in a couple of weeks. I like how they bolt the topper to the bed instead of those clamps on the bed rails. How is RSI going about sealing the gap close to the cab where the bed rails come up about an inch on both sides?

@Harrington How is your rearview mirror visibility? I have a Smartcap on order and am kind of assuming that I'll need to get a Wolfbox or other camera/rearview mirror setup to get good visibility back. Am I overthinking it? Or does the cap really compromise the view?

Thanks

I had the RSI on my 23 F150 and I am thinking about getting it for this also. The Maxliner is my top choice though...I had an inquiry into them but they are apparently looking to see if it fits the US spec RR.

Did you get your Alu-Cab installed? Let’s see some pictures!

I was ready to place an order until I see that SmartCap is taller than cab's roofline...

@Harrington - Was this a 2024 edition Smartcap installed?

Smartcap sent me an email recently saying the 2024 editions are now in stock. From the picture in the email of the Evo sport and Evo Adventure, they don't look like they sit as high up as the one you installed.

Anyone else install the smart cap or similar? I just got a Ranger raptor and need a cap that can handle a rooftop tent which I believe means using one of the metal/aluminum options. I do put my dog in the back so having a slide open side window is needed.

The GFC toppers and campers look great, but I can't get over how expensive these are. RSI looked like a good alternative, just wish it sit a bit more flush.

After looking at all the alternatives I ended up going with the RSI smartcap. I’ve had quality issues lately with fiberglass caps and I wanted to have the ability to have weight on top like a rooftop tent and not worry. I got the sport trim and the features are all exactly what I wanted and the quality and fit and finish is far above the ARE cap I got for my Tacoma last year. Yes these are ugly but if you can get over that it’s truly a great option. Another huge plus is it took 4 days from ordering to installed compared to the 3 month wait I’ve done for fiberglass.

Doesn't look bad. They do look really well made. Do you notice any additional wind noise with it on?

I expected some additional noise and mpg loss but honestly so far I’m still getting 19mpg and don’t notice any added noise. I’m sure once I put the rack and tent on I will see some noise and efficiency loss.

I really love them, but hate the way they didn’t incorporate the 3rd brake light and cargo lights!
