I had one one on my 5th Gen and it lined up very nicely with my Prinsu Rack (not sure I'd want to drill holes in a Ranger Raptor though)

See I have mixed feelings here. I want to buy one but hesitant as I thought it would be taller than the roof.
Looks cool but would be awesome if it was level with the roof line.

I might stick to tub rack instead .

No, I have an FX4 that I plan on modifying for overland. There aren't much in the way of aftermarket parts for the new Ranger yet, so it might be a while.

The Xtrusion overland rack should fit the new 24 ranger. I have one on the way. I took measurements and order the 23 model. I should know by beginning of next month how fitment will be.

The steel / aluminum canopies are as popular as hepatitis in Oz .
Most go for the fiberglass units as they follow the lines of the vehicle instead of looking like you have shrank a shipping container and bolted it to the back of your truck.

I think they are to handle the weight for people putting rooftop tents and stuff on. I will probably only get a rooftop tent if I plan on going into Grizzly country.

The Raptor is built for high speed desert running. My thoughts were for overlanding I need a suspension that can handle more weight, kind of like a Tacoma Trailhunter vs TRD Pro. Also I didn't need the premium interior, I'm probably going to beat this truck up a bit.

Honestly I haven't heard any, I listened to it for the first couple days, haven't been able to say that any noise comes from it. Will be hooking up the teardrop camper next week so excited to see how it tows.

I like that bed mat you have in your truck bed what kind is it. It looks great can you give the info on where you can get it. Is it easy to clean and wash out with the mat.
