Holy shit I love those wheels. Never seen them before.
I'm impressed with them. Stylish, lightweight, hub centric (93.1bore) and both +30 and 0 offset options for our platform. With discount they were inexpensive and shipping was fast (ordered direct).

Good to hear. I'm stoked to see that they have 17s with +30 offset available for preorder. I plan on keeping the 33s on it for the time being, so I need all the sidewall I can get.

I want the Method 703s with the beadgrip technology because I'm at the dunes more than I am anywhere else, but the 703 is an uninspiring design and seemingly ubiquitous wheel. I'm strongly considering these RTRs now, and also reallllly like the RRWs that @MidnightSpecial has on his.

I also found it interesting they ship from Method Race Wheels, so perhaps that is who actually manufacture these for Ford specific applications under RTR branding (or RTR designs them and farms out the build/tooling to MRW). Those forged RRWs are nice too!

Any thoughts on what to do with factory bead locks? Mine are in the Black Rihno boxes with no plan

Just have this close up comparison. I’ll try to take more later

Very happy with it though. Very bright and sleek. Morimoto gear is pretty high quality so I’m expecting it to last the life of the truck

I’m going to use them for winter. I chose a non 3PMS tire knowing I’d run the KO3 during winter until they underperform, and then go with some Hakkas.

I disconnected and returned my Comma 3X. I think that Open Pilot is an awesome project but I’m not seeing the $1k worth of value / performance that it offers, at least not how it is today.

* Lane tracing performance was fine. Maybe on par with my stock Volvo system
* I tried both SunnyPilot and BluePilot
* the install process was very invasive, and then you have to manage a long USB C run to behind the dash
* I dealt with some boot looping and crashing on both forks. This caused the Ranger to throw some errors. A little disconcerting while you’re driving. This could absolutely be a hardware issue that could have been addressed with a warranty claim

Thoughts on the Wildpeak RT so far? Assume they are very quiet when brand new, and you probably don't have much driving in wet/rain yet. I am very likely going to do the RTs in 35x11.5 when my RRW wheels arrive in May. I'm in Texas so don't need the 3PMSF.

They are great tires. The only LT Flotations I found with R speed rating and lighter weight with a good reputation. I don't get much rain where I live in the high desert, but with it still being spring I should get some chances to see how it goes.

RT are more aggressive (hybrid AT/MT) vs. an AT tire like the OE KO3s, so there is more road noise. The gaps between lugs are much wider which catches air and creates noise. Not unbearable like MT style tires though. I've only got about 100 miles on them so they are still breaking in. The extra width definitely improved dry traction - I used to break the rears loose easily, and now it takes some serious effort (FP Tuned/Sport mode).
