What did you do to your Ranger Raptor Today?

Hello all

Brought my RR for a recall today (2023 model, something to do with connectivity and English language, forgot to get the reference…) but the dealer had a 2025 RR in the showroom and had a Quick Look around to see what differences I could notice.
I have only noticed minor trim and materials differences in and out of cabin personally, such as some sort of sprayed protection below the cabin, wheel well are noticeably slimmer compared to my 23, and they added a mic above the driver. Also, the woofer and the liner behind the back seats seems different to me. Thought I’d share with the community

Relations Race Wheels RS7-H Hybrid MonoForged Wheel 17x8.5 +25. Coming in at ~25 lbs each. I have the billet rings on order. Should be here in the next few weeks. Waiting for the truck to get back from PPF and we will install these bad boys.

What's the hub measurement? Are you going to use rings to get it to hub centric? Last I looked RRW claims they are hub centric, but they're not quite.

Aye, I looked at those before deciding to go with the RTR EVO 6 17x9 30mm in Satin Black that are specially engineered for the Ranger Raptor to be hub centric, they are also 22.5 lbs each. The RRW are 95.3 center bore while the Ranger is 93.1 center bore. Very close, but not quite, yet too narrow of a space to use a hub centric ring to bring to make it hub centric. Most people have no issue but I've read a few that reported vibrations due to not being hub centric. They do look amazing however. The Method wheels that people get for the Ranger are something like 106 center bore which gives in enough space to install an adapter ring between the hub and wheel to eliminate the space and make it hub centric.

I am disappointed at the weight of these wheels given the cost of the monoforged vs flow formed vs cast. RRW claims that the monoforged should be 15%-20% lighter than the cast equivalent on their website.

Per their website the same cast wheel is 27 lbs which means its only a 1.5 lbs/0.5% weight savings. I get forged is far stronger but I was going off of their claims of 15%-20% lighter in hopes to offset the weight of 35 inch tires. Kind of a bummer, honestly.

The monoforged is $450 vs the cast $295. Thats $775 difference when buy a set of 5.

Yeah it's pretty bad and misleading marketing. I went with the RTR because of how light they are and they are flow formed. At this efficient weight and cost and the very unlikely chance that I break one, it would still be much cheaper to replace 1 wheel than get a set of comparable monoforged wheels that come in at 22-23lbs. If you're already disappointed, I think as long as you havent mounted the wheels, they should be eligible for return.
