Picked up the RR from the detailer. Really happy with the results. The satin really shows off the body lines that kinda get washed out with gloss black paint.

- Full Xpel Stealth PPF
- Ceramic Tinted windows all the way around
- Ceramic Coat
- Tinted the tail lights

Changed up the UPR catch can. I removed the extra evacuation line for pulling from the can under boost that goes to the turbo intake tube. Plugged the port in the can with a threaded plug. Essentially turned the dual valve version into a single. Maybe wasted money. Hmmm

The 1st delivery of mods has arrived.

Relations Race Wheels RS7-H Hybrid MonoForged Wheel 17x8.5 +25. Coming in at ~25 lbs each. I have the billet rings on order. Should be here in the next few weeks. Waiting for the truck to get back from PPF and we will install these bad boys.

I got the RR5-H Flowform in Matte Bronze for my Shelter Green Ranger Raptor.

The Black billet rings look great on them and really make the look of the truck, but the bolts they send with them leave much to be desired.

They're black oxide coated and surface rust fairly quick, so I'm looking around for a better alternative.

I want black bolts, so finding a decent alternative is slow going since the bolts they send are M8 x 1.25 pitch. I've found some ARP, but at $110 per wheel I'm second guessing my choice on going with the Hybrid wheel instead of the Standard version.

Good to know. In that case I might just make some holes in cardboard to set the screws into and then spray paint the top with some rustoleum or something.

I did that very thing.
It started chipping off as I put them on and the areas that lost the paint started surface rusting.

The ARP I'm looking at come in black zinc coating or they can be ordered with a black e-coat. (pretty sure that's a fancy word for 'paint'.)

$6500 w/ 10 year warranty. It's steep but everyone was pricing around the same.

I'm OCD about paint and with the black truck, I want the piece of mind. I plan on wheeling this thing hard on tight Colorado trails. Pinstriping is inevitable out here since trails only get action maybe 3-4 months out of the year. Everything overgrows the trails.

This is the first time I have fully PPF'ed a vehicle. The investment hurts at the moment and I don't fully know if its worth it but I will probably be glad I did it in a few years.

Hot damn, for that price you could've got a 2025 Tacoma TRD Pro.

I traded in a $94,000 2025 F-150 Raptor w/ 37 Package so guy math says I actually saved money on this whole thing lol

The price isn't really justifiable TBH but neither is buying a new set of wheels and new tires for a brand new truck....wait, crap I did that too.

Hahah yeah I feel that, I have my wheels already, just waiting on my truck now. Can't put a price on happiness.

Installed some little things graphic that doesn’t come the with us version the for the grill and some door sill protection also installed a 10” kicker hidaway

IMG_6123.jpeg
These sill protectors look awesome around the Ford Performance plate. Did you have to cut them or did they fit around them? Checked weathertech site and did not see a specific listing for the Raptor. Any other info on order or install would be much appreciated. Thanks

For what it's worth, I paid about the same for whole-vehicle PPF coverage, and I would do it again (and like you, this is my first time putting PPF on a vehicle). It is holding up amazingly. I have no mudflaps because every set I've ever had on previous trucks I've broken off. So, I sling sand, rocks and mud at it every weekend, have raked bushes on trails, etc and somehow it remains flawless.
