These rubber pads came in today.
‘Lots of pieces to the kit.
‘I figured out where all but e of the pieces were meant to go.

These are the three pieces I never did figure out what they were intended for.
I ended up cutting the bigger one to fit into the bottom of the console.
‘Still not great but should work.

Those 2 little ones in the last picture look like they might fit in the 2 little cubbie's on the left and right of the steering wheel.

Thanks!

I will have to look for those.

I didn't know there were two pockets up there.

For the small ones there should be little areas behind the steering wheel on either side.

You can see my left one is this pic, it just under the turn signal lever.

Thanks

I do have the pocket on the left but I think my trailer brake control feature looks to be occupying what would likely be a pocket on the right side of the steering wheel.

In the meantime, I'm installing 3 3/16" threaded J-hooks in the header to hang my recovery strap and traction boards. The rest of the holes will be covered with some electrical tape for now.
any images of how this looks? thinking of trying the same thing for my traction boards.

It was the local Ford garage actually. They replaced the front drive shaft on Olaf bc the factory one had a cut boot leaking grease all over, 267 miles.

They called before lunch, it was done pretty quick. Wife was at exercise, so I rode my bike over to pick it up, about 2 miles. Service said they cleaned up what they could, and what they didn't get would actually be a rust preventative! A service manager with a sense of humor! At least one shiny drive shaft...the pic is a warped panorama 😁👍 Threw the bike in the bed and drove it home!
I found a similar problem while washing mine yesterday. The driver's side CV boot has puked a lot of its grease into the wheel well, the inside of the wheel and back of the hub.🤬 Just under 300 miles on it. You could tell it was only coming out at speed because there is nothing in front of the half-shaft just behind it, including the front of the rear fender flare.

I'm in the process of trying to seal up the bed before installing my soft fold tonneau. 1/4" nylon plugs are a hair too big for the 6 small (M6?) holes on the angled part of the bed firewall, and 3/16" are too small. In the meantime, I'm installing 3 3/16" threaded J-hooks in the header to hang my recovery strap and traction boards. The rest of the holes will be covered with some electrical tape for now.

1/2" plastic caps fit perfectly in the 5 holes on top of each bed rail under the stake pocket caps, but it's kinda moot given the slots in the bed rails. Taking the rail caps off is a right PITA and not worth the risk in breaking tabs off, IMO.

Still haven't determined the best option to fill the front upper corners of the bed. Those are some big, odd shaped holes.
can you send a picture of how you hang the recovery strap and traction boards? Interested in doing something similar!

Got the start stop eliminator installed, along with my Raptor marker lights in the grill.
Also installed my new BW hitch.

Just realized you're also in Oklahoma.
How long is your trailer? I finally took the jet ski to the lake yesterday and the hitch I used on my Tacoma was too tall for the Raptor. I used a 2" drop and it's still a little too high but will do for the 4 mile roundtrip hike. Can't tell if you're at 2" or 3" drop on that and how your trailer sits!

Yea, Norther Oklahoma and Southern Kansas.

It's called a 3" by the mfg.
That looks to be about right.

I have not tried it on anything yet.

The tong weight on my equipment trailer is near 1000 pounds empty.
I imagine if it starts out to high it won't be once the weight of the trailer is lowered down on it. LOL

It would just be for moving trailers around on my land or very very short trips empty or near empty.

My dump trailer sets up pretty high since it is a deck over design. So, my enclosed trailer is likely the only trailer I have that I could pull with a little bit of stuff in it, but it is so wide that I am a little concerned that I would have trouble seeing with the narrow width of the truck and somewhat small mirrors for towing.

The hitch is really more there so that it can if and whenever I really need it too.
Not that it will ever be my first choice for an actual towing rig.

I have a pair of HD trucks for that sort of thing that as long as one is handy, I will be using those HD trucks the majority of the time with the trailers I have now.
