I have a '24 XLT and as I've posted numerous times, I HATE the seats. Some people seem ok with them, but they are very umcortable for me and my frame.

So I went to my local dealer to try a '25 Lariat (with the 2.7) and an F150 Lariat.

The Ranger Lariat seats, while leather, are almost the same. The seat back was noticeably more comfortable for me, the seat bottom still had that narrow hole between the side cushions and a weird angle, even with the adjustments (my XLT also has the power seats).

But that 2.7 liter engine is nice - it has a little more pop obviously and has better sound. But I ain't buying it since the seats feel about the same.

The F150 was certainly very nice, but that was just for grins. I don't want that big of a truck.

They have a Ranger Raptor that will be ready to test tomorrow. I have an appointment at noon. If it doesn't sell before I get there, could be trouble for my finances. :)

The Raptor seating is very comfortable. A bit better than the Lariat. For me the price difference between the Lariat and the Raptor made it a no brainier to get the Raptor. Plus the smile it I get when my right foot gets a little heavy.

It took about 2 minutes before I noticed my seat was uncomfortable compared to the tester. Bring a seat pillow because it significantly improves long range driving.
