To many pluses for the Raptor!

This is definetely my plan Colorado is to expensive for Ranger Raptors or just "specialty" trucks in general. I'm looking nationwide and follow the Facebook groups so when I'm ready to pull the trigger I can jump on one!If you're open to a 2024 find one out of state under MSRP and fly there and drive it back. That will be a nice long test drive for you!
Yes, case in point of me providing the price difference.I get it guys, I really do. But I also drove both vehicles before I bought the Raptor. For 3 to 4 grand more the Raptor is the way to go. I can put the suspension, steering in comfort mode with quiet exhaust and it rides better. You're looking at the watts link compared the leaf springs. Adaptive fox adjustable shocks on the fly compared to regular shocks. And the retail value is much better down the road.
Good luck with it! Size wise it should give you a good idea & comparison with a full size for cabin space. Even if the rest might not be directly comparable. Thanks guys for you replies! I think I'm going to test drive a lariat at my dealer in town just to get the feel for the cab and stuff as I have mainly had full-size trucks in the past. I want to get a Ranger Raptor because of its size and versatility for the price it seems like a no brainer and I definitely plan on taking it off-road once I get her I mean I live a few hours away from MOAB so its a must haha not to mention all the overland trails here in CO as well. Again thanks for the replies and insights! I look forward to joining the club in the next few months!
You can definitely tell the Raptor is heavier when test driving it vs. the Lariat. I attributed the feel to the larger wheels and tires, but I didn't realize the GVWR was 25% greater. I guess that's why the Lariat feels a bit more nimble on the road.So I see everyone answering their interpretation of your question. Human nature. It would be exactly as comparable as driving an F150 to see what you think of an F250. I know side by side it may not appear to be much size difference. The Raptor does however weigh 25% more than non raptor 6g rangers. It's not worth your time if your goal is to experience the Raptor driving feel. But the things that are similar will be similar, like everyone else said.
Come to michigan you can drive mine. In the woods ice snow the dunes whatever you want. You'll love it. I have had mine almost a year and left it in the garage for a few months because of winter and just started driving it in the snow. The truck is awesome. As someone else said fly to get one and drive it home you won't be sorryHello,
I am in the process of shopping for a Ranger Raptor but live pretty much in the middle of nowhere so a test drive is kind of out of the question for me. We do have a Ford dealer but no allocations for Ranger Raptors but they do have Rangers how comparable would a test drive between the two be? I'm sure a base ranger and a raptor are completely different trucks just trying to weigh my options as far as test drive. I have my mind pretty much made up and don't think the test drive would change it to much but def want to make sure looking for options or thoughts on I should do. I am not in a rush to pick one up so I can take my time if needed to go somewhere and test drive.
Hey, Did CarMax ship you the RR for free to test drive? What dealer did you order from? thx!I was in a similar situation. Wanted to test drive one before I commited to ordering one. I had Carmax ship a Ranger Raptor from Colorado Springs to Loveland. Carmax also allows for a 24hr test drive. Best option for test driving a car IMO
I used the CarMax in LovelandHey, Did CarMax ship you the RR for free to test drive? What dealer did you order from? thx!
