ProCal Tune Installed - cord is ugly

Did anyone ask the dealer to install this with the cord routed to the glovebox? Love the tune. Dislike the cord that sticks out on top of my dashboard. If I had known that prior I would have asked them to put it somewhere else. Anyone attempt to reroute the cord? I don't plan on driving with the unit attached to the window.

You don't need the Pro Cal after the truck is tuned.

Unplug it from OBD2 port? Remove cord?

The cord nor the procal is needed after the tune.
This is why you do it yourself and don’t pay a dealer to do it…

I routed the cord perfectly no problem i left to se other readings i cant see on the RR dash

My dealer put it in my truck without me asking so I have left it there. They put it tight to the drive side A pillar and ran the cable through the A pillar and looks and works good. Barely see cable.

I figured it out. They zip tied it up in the dash in several places so it didn't budge when pulled. I ended up having to remove several trim panels to get to all the zip ties. For context my entire dashboard was being replaced at the the same time I decided to add the tune. So they had full access to go a little overboard with the zip ties.

if you are asking me I can't as much truck is having engine replaced so it is as the dealer

I had the dealer mount the tuner because I wanted the diagnostic/gauges.
They mounted perfectly at the bottom corner of the driver side windshield.
The cord is completely invisible behind the tuner, and tucks into the A-pillar.
‘They did a great job and I really like having the extra capability without cluttering up my display.
