I have not tried 4H for a Draggy hit. Does Ford mention a speed limit for 4H? I feel like 100mph is not a good Idea in 4H. Here is my PB so far.

I’m not sure either that’s why I asked. I’ve seen a lot of 3.5 EcoBoost guys on YouTube launch that way.

My understanding so far is that 4WD High isn’t rated above 55mph and 4WD disengages at 25mph in 4WD Auto. Maybe you could get away with a 0-60mph with 4WD High a few times, but wouldn’t want to risk breaking anything.

Anyone from the SE Michigan area who had luck finding a dealer that will do this? I’ve called several and they all tell me they don’t handle anything performance related.

This is just a list of retailers that sell Ford Performance parts, correct?

I should have clarified, I have already purchased the tune, I just can’t find a dealer that is willing to do the install.
I had mine done at a shop that had ASE mechanics. $80 and emailed the ASE number and name with invoice to Ford Performance. They sent an email back saying it was now registered. It's really easy to install. The Ford dealer told me it would take 2 days and $300.

Livernois Motorsports. They are very familiar with the tune.

Question for those who have done the tune:

What mode did you daily drive in pre tune (Normal, Sport, etc) and did you change your daily drive mode after doing the tune?

Don't have the tune yet. (~ 600 miles on the truck now.) I find myself going back and forth on what mode I use. I like Sport mode when accelerating way better (no shock there) but I have found it a little overzealous when just cruising on side roads at 35MPH/45MPH because it seems to be rev'ing high all the time. I don't mind the rev's when I'm on the gas but I don't need it to be holding at high RPM's while cruising along at 45mph with no throttle, you know? (I will say only spent the last 50miles or so in Sport Mode so still getting used to it. I kept it in normal mode at first just to get a baseline feel for it.)

If the launch in normal mode after the tune is like sport mode pre-tune that may be my choice. Just not sure if it works that way...LOL.

When on dry asphalt - sport mode before tune, and sport mode after the tune. Wet pavement sport with 4A enabled.

Finally pulled the trigger and got the tuner from Lethal for $615, had to call 5 dealerships before finding a dealer that even knew how to install it. Appointment for Black Friday, when I will shred my tires with my newly acquired extra ponies.

I ordered mine on Friday as well. It arrived today. Paid $615 BUT real world cost is $698 after tax, ship, and ship insurance.

Just got mine flashed. Wow. The increased torque and better shift points are super noticeable. Interested to see how much more performance I get after the ECU finishes learning.
