I bet, because your truck is the world truck, and ours are the north american market trucks, you could get the trans button plate from a 5g and put it in place of the one you have in front of your shift lever. And then try activating the transmission modules and see if the button lets you select them.

You do have th same center console as the north american 5g ranger, i think.

The button plate looks the same on the two consoles though. I wonder if the part numbers are the same?

Next time i hit the junkyard here in town, i will look for a 5g ranger snd see if it has the trans button assembly. Then we will have one to try out on yours.

this is the centerconsole from the european 2.0l Diesel engine with 170hp in europe with a manual transmision or a 6speed auto
in Austria the XLT with this engine does not have drive modes

a thing you got that nobody else has is a physical diff lock button if you got one with a locker

I finally was able to get rid of the seat belt "ok" screen on startup. Had to open IPC AS-BUILT and change all the digits from 720-13-01, 720-13-02, 720-14-01, 720-14-02 to "0".

Now my seat belt monitor on cluster screen (when you navigate through "My View" configuration) is also gone. I'm not sure if that is what I wanted. I would like to know if my kid has her seat belt buckled without the need to look back.

Guess I'm gonna switch it back.

EDIT: And also was able to check the splash screen changes. After writing the new information on the module, turn ignition off and on again, then hold the volume down + track forward keys on the steering wheel to force the media to reboot.

Check out my post a page or so back. It explains in detail how to do what you want .

Thank you for doing this. I didn’t like the uncertainty about airbags with all seats “removed”, but hadn’t taken the time to dig further.
I can confirm this works on an American raptor with one minor change.

TLDR version:
Before:
IMG_3025.jpeg

After:
IMG_3024.jpeg

The difference is the 5th digit of 720-13-02, change it from “2” to “0”. Long explanation below.

The first two digits of 720-13-01 are “E0” because I have the front seat chimes disabled. If you want the chimes on, leave at the factory “F1”.

Ok, now for a more detailed look at these settings. Again, this is for an American market Raptor
The final two digits of each line are the checksum, ignore them.

The programming if these 4 lines is set up to control 5 rows of seats, with 5 seats per row. Seems excessive, but apparently ford found it to be necessary.

The first 7 digits of line 720-13-01 control the chimes for each seat position.
Factory of “F100 000” sets chimes on for seat R1C1 and R1C5, the driver and front passenger seats.
Changing it to “E000 000” sets all chimes to off, but leaves the operators functional.

Digits 8-10 of line 720-13-01, and all digits of lines 720-13-02, 720-14-01, and 720-14-02 set the type of each seat and monitoring.
There are quite a few options if you consult the spreadsheet, but only three pertain to this configuration.

“0” sets the seat as “not present”
“1” sets the seat as “fixed seat with belt minder”
“2” sets the seat as “fixed seat with belt monitor”

Googling these terms relative to forscan shows that a belt minder is the chime, and a belt monitor is the popup window.

The factory coding shows seats R1C1 and R1C5 as “1” for belt minder. These are the front seats

Seats R2C1, R2C3, and R2C5 are set as “2” for belt monitor. These are the rear seats.

Ideally, setting R2C1, R2C3, and R2C5 to “1” for belt minder should make the popup window disappear, but it doesn’t. My testing shows that any 4 of the seats can be set to “1”, but the 5th has to be “0” for not present. I have no idea why, but I tested many combos with the same result.

Due to this, I set the rear center seat to “0” for not present. This is the 5th digit of line 720-13-02. The other four seats are set to “1”.

The message box is gone, and I’m no longer concerned about air bag functionality.
Thanks so much! Very well explained! I'm gonna test it tomorrow.

I haven’t tried it, but changing digits 3 and 4 of 720-13-01 from “00” to “88” should enable belt chimes for the rear seats if you want.

There have been several threads about FORScan, but would like to consolidate into one place like was done for the 5G Ranger.

The below document will be updated as people give confirmation as to what works and what does not. I am hoping to find GUI changes as Asbuilt changes together if possible, like you will see on the Confirmed tab for the Chimes and Bambi mode

Web version: FORScan NA Ranger 6G
Actual Gsheet: FORScan NA Ranger 6G - Gsheet

The 3 most useful tabs:
  1. Features Confirmed - these are options that are proven to work on the Ranger
  2. Features TBD - these were collected from F150, Ranger5G, and Bronco and need to be confirmed
  3. FORScan GUI - this is a dump of all the options for all NON-ASBUILT module pages in FORScan while connected to a 6G Ranger

IF YOU CAN CONFIRM a configuration change works, if you could post to this thread with this information:
  • Feature name from the Feature Tab
  • What value you changed from -> to (asbuilt only, or GUI)
  • Ranger trim level tested on
  • Any side effects or gotchas when making the change
  • Any other details of what the feature actually does (in layman terms)

Please PM me if you would like to be an editor for this sheet or request access from within the Gsheet.

** NOTE ** The sheet may take some time for changes to get entered after there are posts with confirmations. So be patient please :)
Dumb question since I've only used Forscan twice in 2019. Does the forscan license work on a 2025 RR just as it does with my 19 or do I need to buy it again when my truck arrives?

It did not work for me 🙁 I inserted the exact values as you posted but still got the message box.

My default was:

I did that yesterday, and it worked perfectly on my Raptor. Is it due to the fact that he's not in the North American market?

No idea. The original post that got me experimenting was from an aussie truck. I’ll quote it below. Not sure if the aussie truck didn’t have seat r2c3 coded in originally, or the poster accidentally removed it. Ended up with same code I did though.

Remove Only Seat Belt “OK” Nag Message

After trialled all of the guidance on removing the seatbelt warning, I decided I didn’t like removing all messages or prompts as I felt the vehicle would no longer be ADR compliant (for Aussie drivers) and I so dug a little deeper.

Remember, use at your own rush. To remove the OK nag message only:

- 720-13-01
F100-0001-002D LEAVE AS IS

- 720-13-02
0110-004D CHANGE the first box from 0120 to 0110 as shown

- 720-14-01
1000-0000-004C CHANGE the first numbers from 2000 to 1000 as shown. Change to 0000 if you do not want the 'overhead seat layout' graphic displayed when a seatbelt issue comes up.

- 720-14-02
0000-003D LEAVE AS IS

These changes leave all of the warnings in place in case someone is in a seat with no belt on and the graphic that goes with it but only removes the OK prompt.
During my testing i found it was only the first 4 characters that required updating as the rest seemed to reset to whatever was required.
