Did you apply the decal prior to ceramic coating? Or did you have to "scuff" the coated area where you applied the decal after? Also, ignore the naysayers...your truck, do as you like. FWIW I like the look.

I just waited 48hrs for the ceramic coating to cure. Then just used the “Wet” method to apply them. No difference than how they are applied without a ceramic coating.Did you apply the decal prior to ceramic coating? Or did you have to "scuff" the coated area where you applied the decal after? I’ll get a full shot later today. It’s in my garage so not enough room to get it right now. Those look great. I've always like them on the F-150 Raptors. Do you have any other angles or wide angle of the whole truck with them on? I def would go this route.
Those are sick. I also like them on the F-150 so it's pretty cool to see you carried this over to the RR. Nice work. #impressed
I get what you’re saying, but it’s still a Gen 2 from a global standpoint. Not in NA it isn’t. I’m not unaware of the previous ROW version, but I prefer to reflect the current RR as Gen 01 here. Just sayin….
I actually considered the issue but decided for my purpose and to be historically correct for NA RR I’d go with it as Gn 01. I figured if I used Gn 02 there’d be folks telling me there was no Gn 01 in NA so I was wrong that way. I like it just the way it is.
Incorrect. That particular decal started with the gen 3 raptor. It did not exist for gen 1 or gen 2. Someone made some with gn 02 and gn 01 but they were never factory. I have one on my gen 2 - I went for the subtle look.Ask Ford. It’s been in every Generation of F150 Raptor so far. Shelby even has one in their version. So, maybe, just maybe somebody cares about the decal even if you don’t!
Great. Then I stand by my position that can call my Ranger Raptor anything ai want. It’s Gen 1 in NA all day long!Incorrect. That particular decal started with the gen 3 raptor. Maybe "US Gen 1 RR" ? just a thoughtAsk Ford. It’s been in every Generation of F150 Raptor so far. Shelby even has one in their version. So, maybe, just maybe somebody cares about the decal even if you don’t!
My point in my RR was that I wanted one and since this is the first generation to be brought to NA I chose to use that number.![]()
