Nice. Have you used a soft top before? I'm on the fence between a tonneau, soft top and traditional topper. Curious what folks see as pros/cons of a soft top.

I had one on my F150 Raptor before this. There are several things I like enough to have gotten another one. You can sleep in the back of your truck very easily, you can fold the whole topper forward if you have to use the bed for real truck duties, and it provides some security for things I like to leave in the bed. I can keep the topper on and still load my mountain bikes, it can handle serious off-road abuse and vibration without breaking.

The only downside for me is closing the tailgate requires two hands to get the flap out of the way and it's not a lockable solution. however, if someone wants to get in any vehicle they will.

Richie,
Fantastic! Is that the one that they list for the 1983 - 2023 Ranger or is that a new model? I have ran Softoppers on my last 4 trucks and they are great. I was just waiting for a compatible model to be released!

Thanks!

I'm considering fas-top and their combo (tonneau and stow-away soft top): https://www.fas-top.com/fas-top-traveler-topper-tonneau/

Good price for both and easy to swap between them.
I've been considering these. I believe I also saw a manufacturer that makes overlanding racks that will fit over soft toppers. Might be a custom ordered top for this, but it seems like the best of all worlds with a soft top, tonneau, and rack which are all fairly easy to remove or open when needing the bed for a scoop of mulch or similar.

I actually saw a Tacoma set up very much like that just a few days ago. SoftTopper with an overalnding rack over it. Had traction boards and fuel tanks mounted to the rack. Not sure how practical that would be for me, but it definitely looked cool.

I have a 2024 XLT and am planning on adding the SoftTopper.
My son has had one on his Tacoma for several years now.
It has held up very well except the rear window is yellowing. The do have replacement windows for it.
He also has a rack for his kayaks over the top. He did comment he can no longer fold the top down because of the rack. Not sure which rack system he has but it's pretty heavy duty.

I've got one and like it but I'm going to have to seal up the side rails better come spring. There are a few leaks I've noticed from snow melt on the topper

Do you still have the soft top and how is it treating you so far?

So far I really like mine.
No leaks so far. I thought maybe the tie down caps would leak but so far so good.
Getting lots of rain right now and will have to check tomorrow when it let's up.
