What did you do to your Ranger Raptor Today?

I finally got my ARB twin air compressor installed over the past week!

For those of you who don't know, Ford worked with ARB to create a spot in the bed for the ARB compressor. Those 8 indentions on the right side of the bed, line up perfectly with the mounting holes of the twin air compressor.

Unfortunately, ARB doesn't sell the mounting plate in the US yet, so I had to order the plate from Ausmotion, but it's only around $65. Also, ARB only includes 4 black bolts for the mounting plate so I had to improvise at the hardware store. I'll try and replace those new bolts for 4 more black ones soon, but everything works great and it all looks OEM.

Been really wanting to do this and this looks super clean. What aux did you hook it up to and how and where did you run the wiring?

I ran two 4-gauge cables from the battery straight to the back, that was by far the hardest part. On the Raptor, there are two cables pre-ran for aux 3 and aux 4. I used aux 4. The ARB twin air compressor has a long wiring loom that I ran over the top of the spare tire zip tying it to the bar above the tire. I also ran the steel-braided air hose along the same path to the other side of the bed. Where the aux cable are dangling near the rear hitch is what I used as the junction point to connect all the wiring. It's pretty clean and tucked up high.

Finally installed my J-Braces (EGR) since my RR was built in August. Install wasn’t bad but trying to remove the front tiedown bolts in the bed especially with a factory Bedliner sprayed in was ridiculous. Thanks to whoever suggested using a pipe wrench!

Finally got around to installing my Ford Performance tune yesterday. Enjoying the 450/500 club.

Slacked on updates, did this well before Christmas.

Installed wagner intercooler.

Stock comparison:

Hard to say how effective it is with the current cold weather, but temp drops under WOT like it should.

Installed borne/mishimoto 30mm wheel spacers.

Currently running my winter tires, nokian hakkapellita lt3 285/70r17 on 5g ranger 17x8 +55.

Installed J-braces (it still pisses me off Ford doesn't at minimum just supply the hardware for free so we can use our trucks as trucks) and subsequently A.R.E. CX topper. I also installed custom (using square tubing) Hot Metal Fab frame mounted rock sliders after finishing with Raptor Liner. I will post more details and pics on the sliders on the "Hot Metal Fab Rock Sliders on Raptor Ranger" thread soon.

I reluctantly added a swingout for my bike rack. I was getting tired of having to contort or remove the rack every time I needed to open the tailgate. I didn’t like the fact that Kuat, Yakima, Thule, and Rig’d were all almost impossible to modify so it could be easily inserted fully into the receiver. I finally settled on the 1up, and I only had to drill a new hole to be able to insert it fully. I still wish a slimmer option existed, but I think this will work out well.

This is more of a last night than today but-

Installed the Signature Lux Fog lights on the Truck- I went with the Yellow.
Took the truck off road to see if anything would bounce around the Fogs were steady and stayed in place and I also used the Opportunity to adjust the Beam on the Amber Spots.

Next step, Air Compressor.

New to the Ford world. I’ve had this since November and love it so far. 2000 miles and no issues. Add ons, bakflip MX4, oem mud flaps, KO3’s, tinted windows. I sure like reading all the threads here from Ranger owners.

Added a roof rack on the sand raptor… how do you like it !? I love it ! Next, RTT, awning, some dessert/camping equipment and let the good times roll !

Put my stock BFGs over onto my Bronco SAS rims.
Was running a 34” Yokohama.
Wanted to try the stock tires once my SAS rims.
Think the trick looked a little better with the larger tires, but got tired of the rub as well as wanted to see if I could get any of my fuel mileage back.
13 mpg has started getting annoying. That is pretty close to what my 700+ hp TRX used to get.

Added a RTT ! Very happy with my measurements, the tent is just sooooo close to the roof rack, exactly as I was planning KB Voodoo did an incredible job with the bed rack, the roof rack is a rhino rack (the new one, RFRB3 I think, doesn’t require any drilling on the roof) and the tent is a remaco, very impressed with the quality

next awning (but will have to wait for the awning mounting kit I just ordered) and the light bar the will go below the roof rack… almost ready to take the family out
