Thx man,
You mentioned there was another way to rig them up would you say that’s easier. I don’t really plan to swap out these lights so curious?

The two other ways I know of, Would be- Rather than a Plug you just wire right in to the Aux Switch-

The other is if you wish to keep the Wiring Harness in as much of one piece as possible.

Ok I kind of like the original way after lookin at it for a bit. In wiring the red side to the aux switch using that persists part did you just connect the insert (yellow insert piece to the red rigid cable and connect the other ordeilys piece to the aux cable and then just connect those together. How did you connect the cable to cable was that just with heat shrink?
Sorry for all the questions

So the Red Wire from the Light Harness- I stripped and the Male side of the Oreilly Plug I stripped the Red Wire- Connected them together with a Heat Shrink butt connector and slid another heat shrink over the connector (Of course make sure you have it on the wires before you connect them!)

And then same thing with the Truck- I stripped off the cover they have on from factory and connected it to the Female Plug with a Butt connector like above- Then I just plugged them in together.

Hey man what butt connector did you use cause I am connecting 18 gauge (the rigid wire) to 14 gauge (the orreily piece)

Today I received the Muslogy Center Console Armrest Cover I won, from being on back order.
The install was simple. Fit fit and finish is great.

I will definitely be buying the Sandstone color one when it becomes available.

You should have asked for the sandstone one, they probably would have sent it to you.

I did initially ask for the Sandstone, but was told they where not in production yet.
It would be a month or two before available.

Aw mine must have been the one-off to see how it matched for production. I gave them a lengthy review on mine with one upgrade for production.

Sure thing- This might be a bit of a Photo Dump.

There's a few ways you can wire it up, Though I went with the way that requires you to slice the Wiring Harness- I didn't want to Hardwire these Lights to Aux Switch 2 so instead I bought these at O-Reilly's

https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/...nnector/cti0/91440?q=Dorman+1+Terminal&pos=12

My thinking is, with a Plug Connection I can swap lights out a lot easier in the Future if I wish, at least on the Trucks side it's just a plug for future use.

This isn't my picture as it's from another Forum but I made a similar cut on the Harness provided with the Lights.

I left as possible and then trimmed after I had the wires ran, here's my under hood.

When we're not impending doom and gloom (Freezing weather in Texas) I need to go buy some more loom to clean it up a bit more, as you can see I just ran the wire from the passenger side and ziptied the Loom to the Trucks.

and here's a few pictures of the Plugs.

When I go to Clean up the Driver side some more I' need to get more black Zip Ties as well to clean that up.

I didn't get a picture but the Grounding Wire I just used a spot on the Battery Terminal with a Ring Terminal.
Hey man last question boutta finish the install just wanna confirm for the ground you just used a ring terminal end for the wire and connected it to the negative battery terminal?

Yep!
Ring Terminal and used the small screw that's on the Grounding Terminal for the Battery.

I blacked out the side fenders chrome XLT emblems. I removed the chrome XLT letters, sanded and painted them matte black.
