I think people are just considering options at this point, because the new Tacomas are more close to a reality than the Ranger in this moment in time.Someone's upset!![]()
Will the Tacoma's really be more "available" considering how popular they are?I think people are just considering options at this point, because the new Tacomas are more close to a reality than the Ranger in this moment in time.
Not everyone has the luxury of just waiting an indefinite time.
I'm just speaking from what I observe in southern California. There are tons of Tacomas (not Pros) on dealer lots. I am assuming once 23s have stopped productions, the same amount will be 24s. If you dont believe me, just look up any franchise dealer near a big city in So Cal and look at their Tacoma inventory.Toyota hasn't pushed out a single consumer tacoma yet people on this forum seem extremely sure they are just gonna dump trucks all over dealer lots as soon as december rolls around and the trucks will be bountiful for anyone who wants one.
Where are you guys getting this crystal ball that is showing you the future?
There are tons on dealer lots because who is going to seriously consider buying an out-going, out-dated (and honestly underwhelming) model when a model refresh is coming within a year? This is an observable trend that happens every time a new generation is being released. My local Ford lot had rangers collecting dust last year/this year for the same reason. Did that bode well for us?I'm just speaking from what I observe in southern California. There are tons of Tacomas (not Pros) on dealer lots. Meh. His whole argument is it's not a "true" Raptor because it has 33's and less suspension travel than the other Raptors. He comes across as a full size truck guy with clear bias. He is also wrong about the width being the same as a regular Ranger. It's 3.5" wider.
interesting video
The width without mirrors on Fords website is the same for Raptor and Ranger 4x4. The track width is wider which is probably why the fender flares are wider. I'm not sure if the sheet metal is wider or just the width at the flares and wheels.Meh. Tacoma's have a sale date December 2023. The Ranger factory could still be ok strike in December 2023. I am not even scheduled for my order. There is a excellent chance that Tacoma's will be on the lot before my order is even scheduled. This makes them more of a reality than the ranger.Tacomas are no more close to reality than the rangers....
