Thanks, I'll send them pictures and see what they say. These have 4 additional bracket and the rails sit on top making them sit a bit proud, hence wht they stick up like that. I'll ask, maybe, hopefully I just installed incorrectly. The instruction manual isn't great and videos don't include the version with the additional brackets for the 2024 Ranger.
What is the lenght size of retraxpro XR side rail ?Sure thing. Here are some pictures. It almost seems like if the seal was a bit longer and maybe thicker, it would work ok. I think the problem is the slight step in the tailgate increases the distance from the seal.

Another thing I noticed today, the drain hoses do not lock in place. Instructions say to put into drain hole and rotate and they'll lock. They don't. I lost one of the tubes today. Instead of drilling a hole in the bed plugs, I just took the plugs out and routed the hoses through the open plug holes. Bad idea lol.
It seems that the side rail fit now correctly to tailgate compared to first pictures, and no gap anymore.![]()

No change actually, that's just the angle of the photo. If I did push the rails further towards the tailgate, the seal might work there but then there would be a gap at the cab side, plus the rails would be sticking out ridiculously far over the end. I think the biggest culprit is the step at the edge of the tailgate. If that wasn't there it might seal better, but not perfect. As for rain intrusion, it's actually not bad so far, some water inside but not soaking wet. Granted I haven't driven much in the rain yet so that may be a difference. With car washes, there's a lot of water intrusion but it's pressured water pushing through any crevice and the biggest gaps are the sides of the tailgate. It seems that the side rail fit now correctly to tailgate compared to first pictures, and no gap anymore.
does rain get wet inside?

I have the same top and the same problem. I’m thinking of adding this to the trim to give it a little more depth.Sure thing. Here are some pictures.
