Whoops, I misread your post. I thought you said when you are in 2H and you accelerate it automatically goes to 4H. My bad.

That 4H turns on under acceleration when in 2H mode.
put on your dash the power distribution; then put 4A and drive. you always see torque on all 4 wheels, but once you cruise, you see it is disconnected and just 2H works. if you accelerate hard from this situation, torque is going through all 4 wheels again. this is because the clutch spins and locks up.
it is not real 2H, cause that is electro-actuated and disconnect the clutch from the from axle, but it behaves in the same way with an almost immediate 4WD effect when you accelerate due to the torque on the back shaft

ah ok, sorry I just answered. no, I meant when you are in 4A it does this thing of moving from 2 to 4 wheel drive, actually it doe move the torque from rear to the front shaft via the clutch

there is definitely electronics governing the clutch cause when cruising you are in 2H and as soon as you accelerate it goes in 4H, without any slippage triggering it.
pure mechanical clutch or even torsen C diff lock works based just on mechanical axles rotation
correcting myself here...electroactuator only plays when moving from 2H to 4H or 4Lo. 4A works based on technical clutch only
