@BajaRR so are you holding the brakes and completely flooring it to get max boost? I would think the truck would start to push through the brakes.

Yes, stomp the brake, gas to the floor and release the brake as boost builds to desired level. As long as my brakes are hard to the floor the truck won't pull through them even at max boost.

The DA I've been waiting for this morning...so close to a twelve argh!

I don't wanna be a creeper and look through your post history, can you tell us more about your DRL's you have? I know some guys here tried the kit from Thailand.
Yeah.

oh man that would kill me! Go on a cleanse this weekend, make the next run in your underwear, remove the trucks valve stem caps and you got 12’s!

Sorry I forgot to put the original poster(DirtDerrick). I have the same question. Take out just the filter, or the whole box.
It was just the filter, & did it just to see how restricted the factory intake is. Also was in a climate controlled filtered environment, I wouldn’t recommend doing it.
I was just saying that with a few bolt ons & properly tuned to take advantage of the bolt ons, the truck puts down impressive numbers.

you get a lot of bang for little buck

4A @BajaRR @AMGRAPTOR yall are running great times!

I believe you’re leaving some on the table if you’re using 4A instead of 4H.

Read on it a little last night but not enough to have an educated answer.

Don’t roast me, it’s something like torque vectoring and power transfer and stuff when it senses a tire loss of traction. May be pulling some power when the tire starts to spin and then locking it up to gain traction back.
All this happening in milliseconds. AdvanceTrac even though it’s off is kinda still working.
Where 4H is just locked in, 4 wheels pulling.
4A is like the reverse of antilock brakes.

I’m not explaining it very well. Yall look at it and see if you can explain it better. It’d probably make a good post, especially as winter is coming. That made me think of Jon Snow.

No!!! You beat my time lol congrats, that is a fast time. I’m still a little hesitant to launch in 4H. I seen a bunch of guys do in the F150s. Did you lunch full boost?

I had been hesitant too...just did it to try and nab that 12 haha. Not sure the exact boost but it was at the higher end. In 4H my truck starts to pull through the brakes near full boost and it builds quickly at WOT so I've just been going by feel and not watching the gauge.

And uphill. Very nice. That should have put you in the 12’s.
Racer math would put the truck in the 12's however it was a 13.0. Ran an even better 0-60 of 4.51 and it too ended in a 13.0. I'm starting to think Ford programmed the tune with a 13 second governor 🤣

After you launch, and its safe, have you tried clicking back into 2wd for the rest of the run?

Give 4H a shot.

Had the same thought but have not yet tried it. Appreciate all your suggestions!
