Since id rather have a hard copy too, I found that you can buy one from Helm Inc

https://www.helminc.com/helm/Result.asp?Style=helm&Mfg=FMC&Make=FRD&Model=RANG&Year=2024&Category=&Keyword=&Module=&selected_media=

It’s easy to argue that for the money we spend on our trucks we should get a paper copy, and I agree, but dying mad about it doesn’t make my life any better so I spent the money on the hard copy.
Just because I haven't seen it mentioned... if anyone actually does want to view the manual somewhere other than the in-car display or ordering a paper copy, I've had good success looking at it on Ford's website. I just google "2024 Ranger manual". Can even search there.

I went ahead and bought the hard copy as soon as i saw it was available. I hope this "digital documents" BS goes the way of the electric car. Worthless x 10!

I heard of this new device! that story you wanted to read?- this device is light, you can store it in any bag, can kick it , step on it, store it for years and it's just like new, also- never need charging! And- you can give it to anybody without interfere! It's called a BOOK! Sheesh!

They used to be so common, you stood on them to reach other things you thought were more important. With everything going digital though, hard copies will start disappearing and when the electronic age ends, we could be in trouble

And who ever is talking shit about should have read the manual... who TF just reads the manual get a life
I read the PDF manual cover to cover at least 3 times before I even picked up my RR. 🤷‍♂️

For my previous Audi cars, there was actually a setting in the maintenance section of the infotatinment for "wiper change position". This would automatically set the wipers at 12oclock.

Yet :) Do be careful; I stripped the splines on a Mercedes wiper motor this way.
Absolutely, the movement is slow and smooth. Almost like it is on a Porsche 911…….Both move together in unison.🇺🇸

I gonna have to go with the person who raised his "whipper's" until they scratched his paint.
I'd go with the person assuming I had a previous car that did this even though in the they responded to it was clear I did not. As well as anyone one being a troll online. I wasn't the one who started name calling.

Me posting this has helped more than 1 person realized this can happen and avoid the issue. If I can help anyone avoid this it's a win in my book. And I think at least 3 ppl on this thread who commented have mentioned they were not aware of the service mode. And I'm sure other's who haven't commented will now avoid this as well.

If you already new, good for you. No need flame ppl who have been doing thing's a specific way that was the correct way their entire lives.

It was a good post. Someday my teuck will need new wipers so now i know.

I looked int he gloce box for the owner's manual.bit there is only an addendum thin manual. I also couldnt find where it is on the cemter screen so i would have never figured out ro turn the power off the stop the wiper arm mid wipe, other than googling it.

FYI, just do a search for the manual and down lisd the PDF on your phone. Then you can pull it up anytime you need and search for what you are looking for. Much quicker than a hard copy in my opinion. (Sorry can't remember where i downloaded it from but was easy to find. Probably Ford site or maybe here)
Hope that helps some.

I've decided to leave my wipers down during winter blasts now because I almost turned my Ranger Raptor on with them out. That would have scratched the edge of my hood by both wipers. I'm getting my wife's RR touched up by the place that is going to put paint protection on ours this spring. One thing we have going for us is that our hoods are aluminum and they won't rust. I know aluminum oxidizes, but that's okay with me.

[QUOTE=" Eveything seems fine, though not sure if they're going down as far as before???
I did the same the first time and I now notice that they don't go down completely anymore?
[/QUOTE]
I just noticed my wife's don't go down all the way either now. Did anyone try to get it fixed under warranty yet? I'm going to have my wife take her's in and just tell them everything except that her husband tried to cycle them manually to get them out of the way for freezing rain. Should be covered.

No obvious warning and bad design, Ford should pay for it!
