I did some research this morning and it looks like you can change the configuration with Forscan as well. I sent that information over the Service Dept lead this morning, so will see what they get back to me with.I bet they have to send it out to a third party shop. I know with FORSCAN and probably any dealership level scan tool, they can only adjust mileage up, not down as they do not want the dealership being tempted to do illegal mileage rollbacks.
By Federal Law, they either have to put a replacement in with same mileage or one at zero miles and slap a sticker label on the left door frame with the vehicle mileage at replacement annotated. The latter you want to avoid.
Hopefully this is the fix.
