Last month I did 2 14-hour trips in the RR. Was great. I was getting around 19 mpg. It seemed to me that I got better economy around 70mph(which sucks cause I wanna go fasssttt).

I was very comfortable as the driver. Had my 1 year old in the back in his car seat and didn't hear any complaints.

I did have 2 minor complaints. 1) road noise could be a little much on the highway but I think that's likely caused by the offroad tires so you just have to crank the stereo up a bit. With exhaust on silent mode it was still relatively quite. 2) Constantly having to jerk the steering to clear the warning for active driver assist got old really fast. Not a deal breaker but still, it should be longer than 15 seconds before it pops up. Especially annoying when you're just driving straight for a while.

I did a 6ish hour drive in mine and was very comfortable the whole time.

I was sitting around 75mph for most of the trip and was getting around 19mpg on 93. I was happily surprised to get decent gas mileage that meant I could go over 300 miles on a tank without worrying about where to find gas.

I was solo on that trip but I have done many 3-4 hour trips with adult passengers and everybody was comfortable with plenty of room. The only complaint I have had was the lack of good rear A/C vents if you are bringing more than one person on a hot day.

Drove 850 miles or so home when I bought my RR. Comfort was great for a truck. I was varying my RPMs often during initial 1000 miles so MPG measurements were not typical. Few days later did a couple hundred miles each way round trip and averaged ~20 MPG with a lot of highway/interstate roads and cruise control engaged. Overall I’m pleased using the RR for long road trips.

Did a 5000 mile road trip this summer. At higher elevations I got over 20mpg at 80mph. Closer to sea level that dropped to about 18. I have wind noise from my vent shades, but otherwise the truck was about as comfortable as a truck can be. It's probably the best road trip vehicle I've been in since my 94 Tbird SC, and that was a true GT car built to compete with the 6-series of the time. You should easily be able to spend 10hrs driving without feeling too fatigued, especially if you stop for a stretch/pee between gas stops. YMMV

Did a 3300 mile round trip visiting Family 2 days after I got it back in July.

I averaged 17 to 18 mpg while averaging 80 mph on the Interstate with 91+ octane gas and 37 psi in the tires.

The mpg has stayed pretty much the same after the Ford Performance tune was installed.

Sold a '19 Ranger to purchase the '24 RR. Have driven 3x 1,000 mile trips, two non-stop. Although the '19 was very comfortable (6'2"/230lbs), the Raptor beats it hands down for long-distance comfort. Very quiet, surprisingly so given the KO3s. No wind noise to speak of either. Plenty of power for any mountain - of course.

Efficiency. Manufacturers spend huge money and countless hours in the wind tunnel for the best efficiency. Fines are significant for non compliance of CAFE requirements - last year Stellantis $295M, Ford and GM close behind. In Europe, Stellantis also has about the same in Euros for not meeting CO2.

Manufacturers seem to have optimized economy around 65MPH. MPG falls off pretty good above that. If you are not in a hurry (difficult in the Raptor) slow down. I live in a rural area and am 35-60 miles to groceries (depending on direction). Kills a half day driving fast or slow, so its 60-65. MPG is 22. At 70 it's 20. At 75 it's 19 plus and at 80-82 in Utah its 18. All at steady state freeway speeds. Periodically make a 135 mile one way trip, 2/3s of which is through thee canyons at speeds of 55-58, steady state, the remainder is 70, 23 plus MPG.

I've made multiple trips like this, plus several 9 hour+ trips. Now have over 10K miles and still loving it. Pretty much mirror what others say. Only annoyance for me is the lane keep assist and warnings. I find it very comfy for me plus 1. Have also done some long distance moving (college dorms). Ranger is not optimal for hauling a lot but it works in a pinch.

I found best fuel economy is around 70 or so for sweet spot but I can't keep myself there. I keep tires at 38psi but maybe a bit more will yield better. Also have a tonneau cover which helps.

Just got back last week from a 5300 mile trip. Multiple 6+ hour days, some 10+.

I have the tune. Before the tune I was getting 16.9 MPG at sea level with empty payload. With the tune and 1100 LBs payload with bed rack and roof top tent, I was averaging 18.1 MPG. This was a mix of mountain, canyon, and desert off roading along with highway travel maxing out at 75 MPH. 104 hours of drive time with 51 MPH average according to trip meter. At high elevation I had a full fuel tank estimate of 422 miles which was the highest I've seen so far.

The ride was fantastic. I have some lower back issues and never once felt fatigued and was comfortable the entire trip.

Fill it up. Line up a good playlist. Put exhaust in quiet and roll on. nice to have a big grill to let those hanging out in the Fast lane that maybe they should consider moving over. Kill the cruise control nannies and enjoy. Smooth and relatively quiet.

I recently took a trip to the Ozarks, and the ride was so smooth. I got about 19 mpg. I drove through some heavy rain on the Interstate as well as two lane winding roads, and it handled great.

My only complaint at first was the adaptive cruise control and the constant alert to put my hands on the wheel, even when they were on it. This occurred mainly on straight stretches of highway. A quick Google search recommended doing a quick jiggle of the wheel and that took care of it.

Have ~ 700 miles on mine now. Had to go on a trip 4 hours away 3 days after I got it. I took the scenic route which took 5 hours but I also went through towns and on side roads at times. (Wanted to vary the speed throughout the trip for break-in purposes.)

I had MPG's at 20 or a little over in some stretches.

Comfort wise.....The seats/armrests are super-comfy on long trips. I am also impressed with how quiet it is, even at high speed. It's a Ranger, not a Cadillac (which was my prior car), so this has exceeded my expectations.

When going 50MPH+ this thing really shines. Even in Normal mode/2H it feels super planted to the ground, stable and just glides over bumps. Sport mode tightens it up a little more. Handling is better than I expected, too, for a pickup.

900 Miles freeway around 18 mpg at 80 mph average. All the technology was helpful on a long trip. Overall a pleasure to drive.
