On the adaptive shift, i was just going through and saw something that said adaptive shift so i clicked it snd hit disable. It wasn't under the normal modules, it was in another section. And i did the pcm relearn, just to be sure.

I will have to look again for exactly where i found it. I went looking since my buddy got his f150 raptor goosetuned and the tune was titled adp-dis.

Speaking of shifting, does anyone know of a way to keep the transmission from locking the torque converter in lower gears? When I'm on a trail or in my neighborhood in the intermediate gears (3,4,5, etc.), the torque converter is constantly trying to lock and then unlocks when the gears change, I go up a hill, around a curve, etc.

Typically, this is addressed in the PCM trans tune, but I didn't know if anyone knew of any changes that could be made by Forscan to keep it unlocked.

Last friday I installed a trailer hitch in my car and found out that even though it didn't come from factory, it has the electrical plug hidden there in the rear.

Now I just need to buy the wiring harness and connect it.

Why I'm telling you guys all this? Because this got me wondering if that would be the case for the front parking sensors as well, as my car doesn't have them. Maybe I just need to buy the wiring and the sensors and install everything.

That's my new research field. lol

I already got the sensors and the wiring harness part numbers. But before buying it, I got into forscan to check if it would be possible to enable them. As it turns out, I found some things related to this in PCM, IPC and APIM modules. Enabled everything hoping I would get some kind of error message on my cluster telling me I had a problem with my front parking sensors. Got nothing. Put my car in reverse gear so maybe I would see the little waves that move and change color to indicate proximity in the rear factory system and also got nothing.

So I went googling on how to do it in other Ford vehicles and found some information on a F150 Forum and giving some instructions on how to do it. Thought that would solve my problem. I was able to do it all except the IPMA module ones, to change from 4CH parking sensors to 8CH. I can't find the IPMA module in my car. I'm not sure if it's something related to a software issue (forscan not recognizing this module) or a hardware issue (my car not having this module at all).

Anyway. Any ideas on what I should do next? I already have a front camera installed (you can find all the information on that clicking HERE!) but it would also be nice to have the parking sensors.
The IPMA (Image Processing Module A) is the one responsible for the lots of features that my car simply doesn't have, like collision avoidance and lane keeping systems. And as it seems, it's also responsible for controlling the front parking sensors.

If I don't have this module, maybe I'm not able to install the front sensors at all because I already changed (or at least think I did) all the other modules specs that have something related to front parking sensors and still no sign. I'll keep digging here.

Got an update for the 2025 MY Rangers. I worked with FORScan and did the testing they requested and provided them log files. They provided a fixed/test version of software based on 2.3.66 and I confirmed this morning that programming of the IPC module now works. I made 2 simple changes using the non-AS BUILT menu and both were successful. I'm sure they will release a patched version at some point but if anyone wants the test version DM me and I'll email it to you.
I have a 2025 Ranger XLT FX4 with a 2.7l. OBD Link EX adapter and Forscan paid version 2.3.65 installed. I can connect to the vehicle however I get the following message:
(OK) [17:12:35.147] Connection to vehicle has been established
(OK) [17:12:41.804] Requesting data from FORScan server...
(ERR) [17:12:53.545] Unable to identify the vehicle. Please contact developers

Would it be possible to get a beta version 2.3.66 to try out?

By messing around with the car settings on my central screen just found that the changes I've made in the other modules had some effect. Found that inside driver assistance it now shows the option to always activate the front parking sensors.

Ford Ranger FORScan NA Ranger 6th Gen (2024+) Crowdsourced Spreadsheet 1746193324948-93

"Front parking sensors (Always)"

Ford Ranger FORScan NA Ranger 6th Gen (2024+) Crowdsourced Spreadsheet 1746193337631-s8

"Allows you to disable the Front Parking Assist sensors. The sensors will remain off until you turn them back on."

Still trying to find a way to activate them without having the IPMA module.

I had the same issue and 2.3.66 did the trick

You can activate sport mode via Forscan. I did it.

I guess the difference makes the 12 inch vs. 8 inch cluster. All with 8 inch does not have the popup?
my 25 xlt fx4 with 8in dash in canada, does ask me if i want to return to eco when I shut her off in eco. havent tried the other modes yet.

Has anyone figured out how to stop "Land Keep Assist" from automatically turning on every time you activate "Adaptive Cruise Control"?

I would like to find that too. I hate that stuff. I turned all the settings as low as possible so now its not so intrusive

TTA required reading the G-sheet section of the spreadsheet and changing the
760-03-01 xxxx XXxx to suit. I can help of you give me your exact original block code.
Maybe you can help me with this, my original 760-03-01 is like this 683C 5463. As it says in the spreadsheet, I added 8 to the indicated bit, making it 683C D493. Now it is possible to activate the function in the off-road menu, a message appears indicating that the system would be activated, but the two rear wheels continue to rotate normally. My truck is a Brazilian Ranger XLT 2024.

D4 is the correct value for your truck.

Not sure why it would not be engaging..

Actually now I remember, TTA will not work if you have hard switch input for HDC.

You have to add D6 which means you will no longer have hill decent control working from the switch panel but you can still activate it from the off road screen.

Does that make sense?
