I think i have come up with a way to remove auto stop / start

Go into the abs module and disable normal drive mode. Since alot of people get in and put it in sport mode immediately, wouldn't that knock out two birds with one stone? You would start in sport and auto stop / start is off
That's actually a great idea!

But in my car, the second drive mode after NORMAL is ECO. If I disable the normal mode, wouldn't it start in ECO mode? Do I need to disable that as well?

I was thinking about that since mine is eco next, also. I bet you do have to disable eco also

Did what you said, that removes even the little seatbelt light! Today I changed it back so I get the little red seatbelt icon in the instrument panel, ans the seatbelt nag is back on but goes away on its own as soon as the red belt minder goes away. I'm ok with that. Also verified that the off-road screen is now available-all I got turned on (on it) is TPMS/temp data and trail control.

Just picked up my 2025 RR 4 days ago. I've used Forscan many times. I tried the latest version and the 3 prior to that including v2.3.66 Beta . I cannot write in the IPC (as-built and non as-built) no matter what I try. All other modules seems to work fine but I really want to get the seatbelt chimes off. I'm wondering if it's because it's a 2025 with an 02/2025 build date? I'm not loading a profile. I've deleted all profiles. Tried everything I can think of.

I have had my 2025 RR about 10 days now and started doing some FORScan updates today and I was getting the same errors in IPC (Service procedure has been interrupted). I'm using the same cable you have above and have used it many times on my 2020 SuperDuty. I am running the latest version of FORScan as well. I'm assuming something has changed in the 2025 MY and FORScan needs an update/patch?

sucks but glad it’s not just me. Assuming it’s a 2025 thing. I’m only on the free trail of forscan so i don’t think I can submit a report. Please let me know if you get it working!

I have a lifetime license so let me see if I can get this to support. I have never had an issue so will have to see what the process is to do that.

I submitted an email request to FORScan support for this issue so hopefully they will have some idea of what might be going on.

There have been several threads about FORScan, but would like to consolidate into one place like was done for the 5G Ranger.

The below document will be updated as people give confirmation as to what works and what does not. I am hoping to find GUI changes as Asbuilt changes together if possible, like you will see on the Confirmed tab for the Chimes and Bambi mode

Web version: FORScan NA Ranger 6G
Actual Gsheet: FORScan NA Ranger 6G - Gsheet

The 3 most useful tabs:
  1. Features Confirmed - these are options that are proven to work on the Ranger
  2. Features TBD - these were collected from F150, Ranger5G, and Bronco and need to be confirmed
  3. FORScan GUI - this is a dump of all the options for all NON-ASBUILT module pages in FORScan while connected to a 6G Ranger

IF YOU CAN CONFIRM a configuration change works, if you could post to this thread with this information:
  • Feature name from the Feature Tab
  • What value you changed from -> to (asbuilt only, or GUI)
  • Ranger trim level tested on
  • Any side effects or gotchas when making the change
  • Any other details of what the feature actually does (in layman terms)

Please PM me if you would like to be an editor for this sheet or request access from within the Gsheet.

** NOTE ** The sheet may take some time for changes to get entered after there are posts with confirmations. So be patient please :)
Just a note about the 2025 RR. For the "Remember fogs on/off" setting, enabled appears to be the default state and doesn't need adjusting at least what I experienced.

Got an update for the 2025 MY Rangers. I worked with FORScan and did the testing they requested and provided them log files. They provided a fixed/test version of software based on 2.3.66 and I confirmed this morning that programming of the IPC module now works. I made 2 simple changes using the non-AS BUILT menu and both were successful. I'm sure they will release a patched version at some point but if anyone wants the test version DM me and I'll email it to you.
