Ordered mine May 2023 and agreed to $3k markup. I’ve only paid markup on my GT350R Heritage, which I paid $110k for, which is maybe 30k over. That’s how some collectible cars are, for example, I bought my 1969 Mustang Boss 429 5 years ago for $180,000. New price on those was about $5000, so I paid $175,000 over Msrp 50 years later.

I did order my RR from my local TX dealer that I’ve already went through to buy my new 21 f250 platinum, used 2021 jeep wrangler rubicon, used 2018 Shelby Raptor, new 2019 diesel platinum f150, new 2019 f350 platinum dually, and new 23 Bronco Raptor. Even buying many top of the line vehicles, they still would only do $3k markup, but considering I got my Bronco Raptor for $5k under Msrp, I’ll just offset paying over for the much cheaper RR. They also know I haven’t sold or traded a single vehicle I own, so I’m not trying to make a profit, but that’s how business works in 2024. Gotta pay to play.

I’ve called 20+ dealers in many different states. I haven’t found a single dealer selling at msrp. The cheapest is 5k over and the high range is 20-30k over. I spoke to one dealer recently asking 20k over and he told me they “laughed at people only offering 10k over”
My dealer is selling for MSRP. Send me a message if you’re looking. Its in Louisiana

really appreciate the tip! Another user hooked me up with a truck last week so I’m good though.
Great.. I’m glad you got one.

I was by Beach Ford in Myrtle Beach today and saw they had a RR sitting out front. Of course I had to stop and look since it's the same color I am waiting for. ADM is $10k  Beach Lincoln Ford

Given the opportunities to buy these at MSRP that seem to show up once every day or two on the forums, I'm optimistic that the markup shenanigans won't last long.

I look forward to finding my own and then laughing at the salesmen calling me back after months of insisting they'd get 5 over telling me they'd like to talk. I've already had two different ones reach out after I said "lol and good luck" to 5 over asking how I'd like 2k and 2,500 over, respectively. Both times I said they could call me when it was MSRP.

Thanks to these forums for showing us that it's not unreasonable or impossible! I learned a lot from Broncogate and will not let history repeat here.

I'm in Colorado. Just bought an XLT, picking it up today. Paid MSRP but got them to bump up the value for my trade in and I think I could have negotiated more. And another local dealer has no mark-up. I still see some mark-ups on higher trim Broncos, like the Badlands. But I think that trend is coming to an end. We cross-shopped a Tacoma and there was no mark-up on those either.

When I visited the small town Ford dealer (Kemna Ford, Algona IA) where I picked up my RR Friday, I checked-out their 3 Bronco Raptors. I really like them, but personally can't justify owning one for me. One 2023 and two 2024's, all priced below MSRP.
Zero Rangers on the lot.
Very happy so far with my RR purchase, and interactions with this dealer were exceptional.

I pinged a lot of dealers in CO, WY, OK and all wanted 2,500-20,000. I laughed at the dealer in Loveland, CO wanting 20,000 because they were the only one that wanted that high and just to place an order, (which is funny about the comment that the dealer wanting 20,000 laughed at 10,000). I placed an order for one at MSRP in WY. I was offered another one in MN that a customer backed out last minute and at MSRP, but turned down because I am not a fan of the carbonized color. But I also have a R and Braptor ordered from that same dealer that gave me that MSRP offer.

Yeah definitely. My current one I have a deposit on (MSRP) is from dealer 2 hours away in Mass. Every single dealer in NYC gave me a horrible attitude when asking for MSRP. Some assured me that I will not find a MSRP deal in whole East Coast.

These ford dealers think the Ranger Raptor will bring back the Covid market lol

I am backing out of my order. It has been built since January and awaiting shipment. It is black with no other options. I am in the South Carolina Hilton Head area. If interested call Tom at Oc Welch Ford Lincoln. 843-687-7787.

Which Toyota dealers were you looking at in CO at MSRP? Think I saw Durango is $1,000 under MSRP on Tacos, and I know Mountain States is MSRP but their waitlist is a couple years for any of the Tacoma hybrids/TRD Pros/Trailhunters last I talked to them. I am really starting to second guess my Ranger Raptor order and weighing other options more seriously now.

Even in bad times there are always markets for the one thing everyone wants! And these are bad times for truck sales... Everyone is stepping out of large truck territory to the SMALLER lol mid-sized Raptor segment.

Picked up my silver raptor today at The Motor Company in Marinette Wisconsin. Paid MSRP. Additionally, their price on my trade-in was more than fair and the finance manager lowered the extended warranty price very close to Grangers price. Doc fee only $199. No nonsense. No dealer shenanigans. All in all it was an easy, smooth transaction. Highly recommend Nate the salesman.
