Current production wait times

Hi everyone. I am about to order a Ranger XLT. Hoping to get it before the end of September. Curious to know what the expected wait time is. What are dealers telling people?

update: Took peoples advice and found one available at a dealership. K am now the proud owner of a new ranger!

2-24 months. I don’t think my special order.will ever show up. Still in production. Ordered in August. Ford doesn’t deliver. find one you like at a dealer. You’ll be happier.

My order date was 5/3. Lariat 2.7L and still waiting on build date....ugh

My order date was early February was told then "15 weeks" and it is now 22 weeks and my build date keeps getting pushed out now to 8/6 so if that actually sticks it will be 6 months just to start the build. Agree with earlier post to find one on a lot if possible. At this stage you might want to wait to order a 2025

Just ordered a lariat 2.7L this week, confirmed yesterday. Dealer said 8-12 weeks but not sure how accurate that is considering the other posts here

Ordered a 2.7l XLT on May 7. Dealer said 3-6 months. So far I've revieved the standard 45 day email from Ford stating that they are "working on scheduling".

I ordered Ranger Lariat 2.3 on 4-13-24 got standard response from Ford that I would get update in 45 days, tomorrow will be 90 days and no update yet.

I ordered my 2WD Lariat June 27th (Sheehy Ford, Richmond,VA) and was told I'd get it in September. I took and take it with a grain of salt. There were some previous posts of people getting their ordered non-Raptor Rangers in the 3-4 month range, so it's possible though I personally believe improbable based on recent threads. Hopefully someone can prove me wrong!

Ordered an XLT 2wd on 5/1...still shows "order confirmed", nothing on scheduling.

I ordered 2.3 XLT 4/5, received email in Mid-May it would be built week of 6/12. Was actually built on 6/13, but then was delayed 3 weeks for QC issues, moved out of state 6/30 vehicle shows up at dealer 6/2 and unfortunately could not take delivery. Just ordered 2.7 XLT same options beginning of this week, order confirmed. We'll see how long this takes.

I ordered my XLT FX4 on 9/28/23, Carbonized Grey. Went into production on 3/4/24 and has been sitting on QC hold ever since. My dealer told me yesterday that my delivery in now 7/21/24 - 7/27/24. My tracker has not updated since 3/4/24.

I put a Lariat FX4 2.3L order in on 6/17/24 got scheduled the same week for 8/05/24.
