WOAH!

It's apparently impossible to get a build date from a VIN, and I don't have a picture of the trim tag, so not sure.

But, bought it off the lot in May, so I'd assume early.
Its on the door jam! Where the tire pressures are, etc

Oh boy.

Yes, we've established that fact.
Why did you post on here? You already took your truck to the dealer, so it's done. Let everyone know how it went, and best wishes to you. Others should not be concerned, this isn't a widely reported issue at all. I assume people know how these trucks are made - all I'll say.

I just picked my RR up from the dealer for a coolant leak. They couldn't determine exactly where the leak is, but they could see some dried coolant. They put dye in it and told me to drive it for a couple weeks. Mine was dripping from the differential, so I'm hoping it's just a turbo line or maybe a freeze plug.

Hope you have better luck than me.

Still waiting to hear what the resolution on mine is.

I just noticed a leak yesterday on mine. The coolant is dripping from the differential and coolant level is now just below the min mark, but I can't see where it's originating from. Going to the dealer tomorrow. 7750 miles.
All it takes is a puff of vapor for you to smell it. And if that's the case, it might take some time to show up on the coolant reservoir. If you can find it, there may just be a hose clamp that needs to be tweaked.

It's more than a puff of vapor, it's a puddle of coolant on the ground under the front diff. It's at the dealer again now; hopefully they figure it out today. I could see it running down the motor mount from below the truck, so I'm hoping it's just a bad turbo line. They topped it off Monday and added dye and told me to drive it for a couple weeks. I drove it 2 miles Tuesday night and then parked it. Wednesday morning it had a small puddle of coolant under it.

I had a coolant leak as well, mine was from the turbos. Had the smell, drop in res level, and white smoke 💨 on cold starts. Mine they replaced the turbos. All good since.

The dealer just got back with me. One of coolant lines on the turbo is leaking, may be a factory defect. They ordered the part which will take a couple days to deliver.

New update from the dealer after teardown is that there was a pinhole in the head. Must have been a casting issue.

Waiting on parts to replace the head, supposed to be here next week. Also waiting on confirmation that no coolant was leaking in the engine before they proceed.

No luck yet with ford trying to get an extended warranty after the teardown.

If you have not already you might have better luck reaching out to the factory rep regarding the extra warranty stuff .
