Do those catch cans freeze in the winter?
I'm sure in extreme climates they could be affected. But even when it was single digits here, I didn't have any issues.

I didn’t have any issues this winter in sub-zero temps. I checked and emptied a couple of times. The hoses are never full of liquid and as long as the can is never completely full and allowed to freeze I think you are fine. Hot air from the crank case will thaw everything quickly.

The Ford one would connect in the same location. You wouldn't be able to have both.

Well that makes very little sense. It should connect in the same location.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see how it was hooked up. That being said, I don't really know the 2.3 engine as well as you do, so I trust you in this regard.

The big question isnt necessarily where they mount, but if they connect to the same locations. This is where my confusion was and why I was skeptical that you could run both at the same time. I dont know where the UPR connection locations are compared to the FP version. Thats what you have to figure out.

That would be odd to have to run them in sequence if they hook to the same spot.
