There are plenty of truckbed accessories that can double or triple the amount of usable storage you have in a 5ft bed if it's that important.
(Rubs arm like a junky needing a fix) what are these truckbed accessories you speak of, and where might I find them?

Lol, i was mostly just meaning camper shells, bed racks and bed extenders. Not exactly the same as a longer bed (except bed extenders) but at the end of the day, a camper shell is going to give you more usable bed-space by volume than you would get from doing from a 5ft to a 6ft bed. Same with a well built rack, especially if you start extending that over your cab roof and using that area as well.

Well, I have a 2019 with a 5 ft. bed. Trying to decide whether to pull the trigger on a new 2024, so I haven't committed to anything I can't either transfer to another vehicle, or at least undo.
