When do you think orders will start shipping? Jan? Last year they had the auto strikes so they didn't start building until Jan if I remember correctly. Can't remember when they actually started delivering.

I'm digging that black appearance package. Wondering if you will be able to get the blacked out ford logo separately.

I might be wrong but I don’t see heated steering wheels listed as a feature on any trim anymore for 2025.

I’m also glad I got my Hot Pepper Red Ranger Raptor as the color (and red overall) is gone for the 2025 Raptor!
You had me worried because I went and checked and didn't see it mentioned anywhere. BUT, our admin posted the official order guide and it does list a heated steering wheel on the lariat (I didn't check the other trims).

I do have an 2.7 Iconic Silver XLT on order (since early May) but I am finding Carbonized Gray with the Blackout appealing. It is sending me Darth Vader vibes.

I think I'll answer my own question: I'm guessing the Active Park Assist is now gone, and I'm guessing so because of this article I found: https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a46683694/ford-parallel-parking-tech-discontinued/

So while I'm less than delighted to get less for more, that article just makes me mad because if Kumar Galhotra, Ford's COO, is quoted correctly then he's f&*^ing terrible at math. The numbers in question are: it saves $60/vehicle for $10,000,000 per year and total savings of $2B (yes, 2 Billion). According to my math, saving $10M per year will take a whopping 200 years to save $2B. He vaguely mentions savings in "freight, manufacturing, and materials", but if those aren't rolled into the $60/vehicle as "cost of goods sold", or COGS, for the feature then he's bad at operations as well as math.

Enough ranting; looks like no parking assist.
It doesn’t work that well anyway. I tried 90 degree parking with it first time last month and I cancelled it when it got 5 inches close to another truck and I didn’t trust it. I saw YouTube videos of it and it seems like it always pretty much always gives you a heart attack. I tried parallel parking couple days ago and after it backed in half way, it said can’t do it, take control now.

To be honest the RR is a better deal than a loaded Lariat (2.7, FX4, black appearance, advanced towing) the price difference is minimal. I am going to see how much I lose in the "truck stuff" capabilities. The MPG isn't a deal breaker, and the cool factor is definitely there. I would never use it for its design, a few mountain trails and dirt roads. The power would probably get me in trouble, lol. My 25 prices out at $55,160. That is a lot for non-Raptor in my humble opinion. Raptor with a spray in bedliner comes out to $57,810. Really?!?
A lot enters into the equation. My fully loaded FX4 Lariat stickered at $54k, I paid $50,800. I have a 500 mile a week commute, with the 2.7 I'm getting 24-27 in stop & go traffic on the highway. Gas is $4.75 a gallon here.... the Raptor would cost thousands more.

I was not arguing about how that system works in general, but that we do not have it (or its not on by default). Our trucks will display what the speed of a road is but it's based off navigation.
Whatever you were "arguing", you said, and I quote, "It doesnt read the signs," which in fact, it does.

No Iconic Silver, Azure Gray or Cactus Gray?
Still have to get 4x4 for the 2.7 option.
No 2.7 on the XL.
I guess I'll pass.

I'll see if I can try it out. We have a F150 that has it. You can't use adaptive cruise with speed sign recognition on the toll roads because it will read the service road signs and go from 70 to 55 really quick.

I tested it this morning. The speed limit sign in the right hand corner is 100% governed by gps data. You will notice the sign doesnt update till you are at the exact point of the sign. Cruise doesnt read them as we have multiple 55-75s heres and it just cruises at 80 the whole time, unless it is something you must specifically enable in the interface, but by default it doesnt.
