Got it done yesterday, installed the struts at the same setting as yours turned out well. Did you have to get an alignment?

Nice! Looks fantastic! I went and got an alignment, and it was out of spec after the install. Worth doing one with those new tires ;)

If you can do the Off Road mods yourself, you should be able to build a capable truck under the
$47 K USD that a Tremor will cost when it is sold in NA.

It would be cool if the Tremor was an overland focused suspension like the trailhunter. So you can have the equivelant of a TRD Pro = Raptor and a Tremor = Trailhunter.
PS: according to everyone Raptor > TRD Pro, not =

I hate to bother you again, but is there anyway you can take a picture like this of your setup? You're the expert at modifying the FX4 at this point.

Here ya go! I couldn’t get the removable sway bar endlinks to stay quiet and it just wasn’t worth it over the clunkiness to have disconnecting links. So I swapped in some universal Godspeed 230-280mm adjustable sway bar end links. Definitely loctite the lock nuts on or they will back off.

Here’s the current state of my Ranger XLT with FX4 package:

Method 703 17x8.5 +35 offset Bronco Ford Performance Wheels (ordered through dealership)(black lug nuts)

BFGoodrich KO3 285/70r17 tires

Rallyflapz extended arch mudflaps (ordered these from the UK and had to cut them down a bit as they were just too wide for the truck, and also had to fabricate a bit of a bracket for the fronts, just bent one of the arms of an L-shaped bracket and bolted it down under the crash bar bolts *pictures)

Bilstein 5100 suspension +2” lift in the front; fronts coilovers are actually made for the Bronco and fit great, the rear shock absorbers are made for the 5G Ranger.

Gas mileage has dropped from around 23 mpg to about 20-21 mpg for mixed highway, city driving.

*FORScan has released update 2.3.61 which has allowed me to write changes to the BdyCM. The ideal tire circumference for this tire size is 2612mm, but I’ve seen that you want to account for some squish in the tire to get the speedometer just right. The posts I saw said to multiply the ideal circumference by 0.96 to get the ‘real world’ circumference which came out to 2507mm. I entered 2500mm (cuz I like the round number better) for the new circumference and my speedometer is reading 75mph at 75mph in the OnX GPS app, pretty much perfect!

EDIT 08/17/2024:

Here’s the end link solution I came up with:

img_1705-jpeg.jpg

I bought the link kit from Ruffstuff and then I also bought their Sway Bar Quick Disconnect Pin Kit (not pictured above). The pins just bolt into the knuckle and the sway bar and then the Heim joint rod ends slide onto the pins and are captured by the smaller retaining pins.

The rod ends that come with kit are unfortunately too large to allow enough motion in the rod end as it was made for a Jeep with a solid axle, not an IFS truck. I bought these Left Hand Rod Ends and these Right Hand Rod Ends from Speedway Motors. They’re just a bit narrower in the body and allow the rod ends to articulate enough for the IFS.

img_1709-jpeg.jpg

They seem to be working pretty well, and they are removable fairly easily, so I’m satisfied with them for now. The narrower rod end spherical bearings are pretty loose, so they might be a bit creaky after a few months, but we’ll see.

Yeah, I’m actually out on the east side of town myself so I go down to highway 83 and drive the trails all along there. I’ve got a state trust land permit (it’s only like $12 a year) just to be safe cuz a lot of it is state trust land, but Powerline Road trail is neat, and it connects to a trail called Total Wreck Mine, which isn’t super tough, but it’s like 15 miles of some cool climbs and descents that will test your equipment out without getting you in a whole lot of trouble. Pretty scenery too.

Sarah looked like she was down in the Pantano wash off of Drexel. Can’t get there driving down Drexel itself, just based on some google map searching it looks like you could get there driving east on Poorman rd off houghton down into the Pantano wash and then go north in the wash. I’d get OnX to make sure the property you’d be crossing is legal to cross before doing anything! People shooting videos might have permissions from landowners to do that kinda stuff so I wouldn’t just assume you can do the same.it looks like a mix of state trust and Pima county land to me, but always wanna check and obey signage and all that.

Hope that helps!

I have one
Was wondering if you could fit a 285/70r17 in the OEM spare spot? Is there enough room?

There is enough room, I bought the Bronco kit set of 5 wheels from Ford when I got the Methods. My spare is the 5th Method wheel with the same K03 on as the rest

any long term update on the shock with how they ride and your feelings on the rear shocks. for daily use and then some offroad. I am leaning toward the bilstein vs the new Eibach I will be mostly on road and really dont tow alot.

Does Eibach now make a leveling shock for our trucks?

Seems the Bronco front shocks are the same as the ranger and they are listed from 21 to 25yr model. will need other to jump in.
