I didn't have any issues syncing HomeLink to my Chamberlain opener.
My Chamberlain remote has better range than HomeLink but I can deal with it. I'd rather not have to keep a remote in my truck.

I got mine to work but the range is terrible. I have to be directly in front of the door to get it to work. My other vehicles will work from a block away.

Anyone else have poor range issues?
Sorry to tell ya, man, but mine works from at least 100' out as long as the door is even slightly visible, and maybe over 200' on a good day.

Do you have a lot of electronics in the garage, or anything that could be interfering with the signal, like concrete screening under an adobe siding?

Still no go - even following the steps above. Guess its back to Homelink for help.
I’m having the same problem, it probably works about 2% of the time. I had it in my 2017 F150 and it worked 99.9% of the time so I don’t think it is any problem with my door opener or it’s location. Maybe the Ford representative monitoring this site and give us some help.

Spent another 1/2 hour on the phone with Homelink today. Only way we could get the door to do anything was to turn the visor down so Homelink button was facing front windshield- then after a long button hold it would open or close door. Has to be some other answer here on this problem. Where's our Ford rep ?

This youtube video worked on our ‘24 Ranger.
I have been trying to get the HomeLink on my 2024 Ranger to work since I brought the truck home in late December. I tried almost everything that I came across online but have had no success. I tried it again today after watching this video and BAM, it worked the first try! I did two things differently that I did not do on my previous attempts. First, I normally have my truck backed into my driveway so this time, I turned the truck around so that it was facing the garage and parked it so that the front bumper was about one foot from the garage door. Second, at the step where you put the garage door opener into learn mode, I pressed and released the HomeLink button that I programmed with the remote about 3-4 times before the HomeLink system "connected" to the opener (this is the step that wasn't clearly articulated in other how-to's that I tried). I'm guessing that with the rolling code systems that most (or some) garage door manufacturers use, the repeated pressing and releasing of the programmed HomeLink button gave it a chance to "catch" or get in sync with the opener's rolling codes. Idk for sure, but that's my guess. My garage door opener is manufactured by Genie.

I have yet to try the range or distance of the HomeLink to my garage door opener. I'm still excited from getting the HomeLink to sync and work. I'll take that small win for now. Now I have multiple ways to open/close the garage door (in order of preference): 1) using the HomeLink button/system, 2) using Alexa voice control, and 3) using the remote control. Life is good!!!

Just went through all of this with my new Ranger. On my F150, built in remote works flawlessly with our Chamberlain LiftMaster, not so much with the new Ranger. Had to use my remote to program it and as others have said, the range is pathetic, I have to be in my driveway, right against the door for it to work. C'mon Ford, fix it!

You don't programm the garage door opener in the garage .All you need is the remote . Hold the button down till it changes color now push the button on the original remote and hold it or push it twice Something like that.
This can be done in the front seat .
