I've had my new Ranger for about a week and everything has worked great except for the HomeLink module. It will not sync with our Chamberlain garage door opener. All of our other vehicles and universal remotes work fine. I had the HomeLink system checked at my Ford Dealership and they say it's putting out a signal and working fine. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Update, the Chamberlain remote I ordered came in last night. I was able to program the HomeLink on my Ranger this morning, no problem. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions.

I'm seriously having buyer's remorse, I didn't even know Homelink was available. I have a gate and a garage door, now with 2 remotes hanging from my visor. Damn.

I believe it's only available on Lariat trim. Such a simple thing they make on fewer and fewer trims now.

You can buy the home link system from amazon and other places and mount it on your visor or wherever you like.

I had similar problems. I went back and forth with the learn button and the remote until I finally got it to work.

Something I’ll share with the group is, when I was shopping for trucks I found out Chev and GMC did not have Homelink so I checked around for other options and found gotailwind.com. For me, this works great! As I approach my garage the door automatically opens. It has several other features that you may like also, like closing the garage after you leave. Reminding you after a self determined amount of time, if you left your garage door open, and automatically closing the garage door at night if you’ve forgotten and left it open.

I just got my new 2024 Ranger XLT. I am shocked it has no Homelink! I would not even think to ask a salesperson if it was included, I just figured it was in every vehicle manufactured today.

Getting it to pair with my Chamberlain opener was quick and painless compared to previous Fords i had, and that's about it. It's the worst by far to get it to work from outside and have to use the Chaimberlain remote clipped to the visor. Works good when leaving from inside the garage. That stupid homelink is useless in my RR. Sure hope the next OTA update thats supposed to come out in the 4th quarter, is going to fix this. Update: Brought this homelink issue up with my Dealer and he said there's nothing that can be done. Issue must be with the opener. Told him opener is brand new and is working great, including the clicker i put on my visor. It works every time, where the homelink crap is not. Definitely Ford's homelink that isn't putting out....

I have an older Chamberlain opener. The remote paired with Homelink in less than 20 seconds.
The Range is decent enough. The door will open from 3 houses away.

Mine paired with the remote quite easily , and works great inside and out of my garage (LiftMaster opener).

This was my experience with my LiftMaster opener as well... working great for me.

the issues with this seem to be more related to the remote you use than it is to homelink.

i have an ancient liftmaster remote that i use in my other vehicle and it didn't want to pair at all. i grabbed a newer lowe's remote we loan to people who watch the dogs and the truck paired immediately.

I got mine to work but the range is terrible. I have to be directly in front of the door to get it to work. My other vehicles will work from a block away.

Anyone else have poor range issues?
I have the same problem have to be with in 7 or so feet for it to work.

Mine's not paired to mine so I just drive around and push the button and watch every other garage open  :like::p

I have a Liftmaster receiver (3 years old) - the remote will progaram, but not the car. Homelink got it to program once and then 4 days later it stopped working and they can't get it programmed again -- any advice ?

Mine was easy to program and get set up. Unfortunately, I have to literally be nose to garage door in order for it to work. TBH, I have yet to get any vehicles homelink to work with my garage door from any distance. So Ive been using my clicker for 18 years now, Im used to it.
