What I found out from SEMA last year was that Ford put each tune though a 100,000 mile test before it is approved. There is also CARB paperwork for each model year that needs to be filed. 90% chance, California is holding up the show.Picked my '25 up on 3/21 and it's the 2.3L 4x4 built week of 3/18. Tried the 19-24 engine cover yesterday and discovered it didn't come close to matching. Upon looking around I discovered the "new engine" post implying there is a new 2.3L version for 2025. I'm heading back to the dealer today to look at base model mustangs and broncos to see if the engines are the same.
Maybe this is the reason they haven't approved the '24 2.3L Pro Cal tune on the '25s ?
