I much prefer the matte screen protectors for cars. Reduces glare from the sun and it's harder for finger prints to show up. No difference at all in responsiveness. Very happy with it.

I did have a couple of bubbles I couldn't get out during the install, but they disappeared overnight. Just keep that in mind in case you get frustrated with it initially

How's the fitment? I know a lot of protectors become a dust trap around the edges.

I went with this set and am pleased. Not matte but minimal prints and no issues with edges getting buildup.

It's pretty close to the edge of the glass on the ranger, certainly goes beyond the screen area.
