6th Gen Ranger vs. 5th Gen Ranger -- Good Comparison Video

Since I’ve hit the bottom of YouTube and watched every ranger video possible multiple times at this point while waiting for my truck, I was pleasantly surprised by this video that was posted today comparing new Ranger to previous gen. Good high res shots of the two cars driving side by side and probably the best on road footage I’ve seen thus far. Might be partially biased because it’s a black lariat like i ordered but I feel like this is worth checking out .

One thing I like about the 2023 is the front of the hood is lower which gives better visibility when off-road. That is important to me because I spend a lot of time in the wilderness. Otherwise, the 2024 looks very nice over all. I don't think the 2023 is that much smaller but I do prefer smaller too.

The one thing that will bring me to the newer Ranger is the 2.7L V6. One thing that could bring me back to the 2023 is the availability of a Supercab.

The forward facing camera should more than make up for not seeing over the hood though.

Such a massive improvement. Never owned a 5th gen but im absolutely loving the 6th! It’s damn near a perfect truck. I will say when sitting in mine I don’t hardly see any of the hood, but I’m pretty short

i like the interior review on the Ranger that came toward the end after the Ranger towing test.

Not a bad looking truck. Lot to like. Should sell well. And hopefully Ford actually promotes it.
