Got a set of 285s on the Ranger. Has the Superlift 2.5" to level it out with the Wildpeak R/Ts on 17x9 G-FX with +12mm offset.

They ride quite a bit smoother than I thought they would. Bit of road noise but not unbearable. Tiny rub on the liner for driver side (small bump out on the liner that can be trimmed on the front side).

Good before and after using the boy for size comparison.

Looks nice with the black on black and offset. I had the dealer install the RC 3.5 with 285/70/17 KO 2 (not my preferred tire but what they offered).

Looks great.

How is the Rough Country lift performing for you?

The +12 is a bit more than I was wanting but it does look nice and aggressive.

Yah, the one from garage alpha offroad. Has camera brackets so everything was a direct swap and fits perfectly.

Does anyone with the Superlift leveling kit have any suspension/install pics or anything to note? I'm considering it versus just a strut spacer lift. I presume the sway bar links are extended to maintain the swaybar's standard orientation.

I'm aware the bump stop issue that some say would be an issue for a strut spacer is not an issue since the bump stop is on the strut.

I'm curious if anyone has ever disconnected the bottom strut mount bolts and the sway bar link to allow the suspension to droop. Theoretically this would test how far you could space it before it's considered an issue with the ball joints meeting their end travel. Also, the approximate angle of the CV joint could be obtained—I hear ~30-degrees is as far as you want to go.

I'm early in my research for a level kit that is optimal but doesn't cost big bucks—not cheaping out either.

I would presume BDS is likely to develop a kit similar to the previous gen which is a small strut spacer with a preload spacer. BDS has not ETA on development.

I went with the strut spacers for now. 2.5" leveled out the rake and gave enough room (with slight trim of the driver side front liner) for the 33s.

I was eyeing the RC 3.5" suspension but another user posted the issue with headlight sensor on the passenger upper control arm for the Lariats, so skipped that option. I am interested in the Dobinsons kits, as they look like the legit option right now.

I’ve been watching BDS regularly for their kit as well.

I reached out to Dobinson last week. Their guidance wasn’t great, I’m holding off to see what BDS for now, having had a BDS 4.5in lift on Jeep.

If I still lived in Michigan I would drive down and talk to BDS. Maybe the next time I'm up there for work... my office up there is about 40 minutes from them. Unless the geometry has changed that much, I cannot fathom they would do any different than like the previous gen lift. To me it seems to be the best option to move the bottom preload in an upward direction and avoid larger geometry changes in the control arms and CV.

Still curious about how much droop is too much on the new gen. I presume what would further exacerbate the droop issue with a strut spacer—in significant off-road obstacles, given the front axles, if one side is compressed and the other side is up in the air with no contact, the sway bar would be putting pressure downward on the non-contact side. If the ball joints are maxed out, I can see where this is no bueno over the course of time.

In hindsight, the sway bar isn't putting downward pressure on a non-contact side in obstacles since it's not body roll highway driving. So, it's not as terrible as I first imagined. This is why they have sway bar disconnects. Silly me.
