Well, installed both Ford Accessory; Lund/Ford Branded Hood Protector/Deflector and Cab Spoiler.

Both fit well and enhance the protection of the hood and windshield along with their aesthetic pleasing line and appearance. Got them fairly inexpensively considering I had a good amount of FordPass points . Still waiting on the tailgate spoiler.

Fitting for both is fairly straight forward with good instructions provided. These installs are those that you take your time with and triple check measurement and placement. I can’t express this enough; follow the instructions provide and don't rush. Once they are on you’re not getting them off.

The cab spoiler and hood deflector protector comes with 3M tape applied, 3M adhesive tube for a caulking gun and yellow grease pencil for the spoiler as well. (The 3M adhesive is only to be utilized with the spoiler, do not use on the hood.)

The instructions are thorough and precise. It’s also good advice to utilize the yellow grease pencil on the hood, to mark its placement before removing the 3M tape covering and securing it to the hood. This way you know it’s positioned correctly when the tape touches the hood surface.

Cleaning with isopropyl alcohol (91% or greater) is a must for proper adhesion strength. Doesn't require an adhesive promoter, nor do I advise it due to the painted surface. Just a good clean surface free of wax.

Both enhance the appearance of the Ranger Raptor.. Although they're very well adhered to the surface, I don’t advise running the truck thru a regular full touch car wash. Touch free or high pressure wand wash, no issue.

Just remember to take your time and be methodical about positioning and marking.👍🇺🇸

Thanks for posting this - I've been eyeing the cab spoiler on the accessories store and was waiting to see it on a RR. I think I'll be using some reward points on this one. Looks good to me!

Spoiler looks fine, front bug guards look super ugly to me though. Is the spoiler just black plastic, does it have any coating on it such a clear coat? 🏳️‍🌈👍

Do you mean PPF? It’s an alternative but it really doesn’t self-heal. I’ve had 3M Expel along with others and none of them every self-healed. It’s a marketing ploy.

I’ve had it on every car I’ve owned in the past 20 year. Even had windshield protection, which does work well but it’s not self-healing.

If it takes a direct strike it going to protect the finish but is going to leave a mark in the PPF.

I’ll do the remainder of the hood, the front end, half the roof and fenders with PPF but that’s it. Might have the windshield done haven’t decided. Had the 2023 Toyota GR Circuit Edition canolied with PPF. Then I traded it.

One word of advice; don’t use wrap it’s to thin and doesn’t protect very well from stone strikes. Use nothing but PPF and as thick a mil spec as possible.👍🇺🇸

Ordered the EGR hood protector after lots of research. Did not want anything that stuck directly to the hood. Had AVS bugflector 2 on my Lariat but they were bought by Lund and don't make anything similar that will fit 2024 Rangers or Ranger Raptors

I did the same.

I just wish I would've been able to before I went on my trip. The truck was literally "surprise! I'm here" 3 days before I had to leave.
The hood got a couple small chips, that I already fixed, but all the insect casualties were a pain to get off, even with the ceramic coat.

I should also say that I don't have it on yet. I wanted to clean the casualties off and put another dose of ceramic coat on the hood, but real life (work) has been getting in the way.

I had more than one third party source like RealTruck etc., tell me they won't fit a Raptor so I reached out to EGR who confirmed that they would.....I still looked at pictures of Rangers vs Raptors to see to my satisfaction that the hood lines were the same. EGR was very responsive and helpful, we'll see how long it takes the order to arrive.

Same.
It was their response that confirmed it for me, also.

I looked at the hood of the XLT my Dealer had. It's basically the same hood as the Raptor, size and body-line wise, but doesn't have the hood vents.

That is a very strange looking hood protector. Plain ugly imo. Cab spoiler looks fine - can it be painted body color or is it textured/made to stay black.

I do dig that cab spoiler, but I don't think I like it enough to justify the $$ for the spoiler and then the paint match.
Please follow up on that tailgate spoiler too, I'm also a bit curious about that.

If you're talking about the one that uses the brakets to mount the bug shield then good luck. I went through two shields and ended up getting a refund. Both kept cracking at the mounting screws. I didn't over tighten them either. I believe the mounting point doesn't have enough surface area. Also, the two rubber props that go on the ends of the hood between it and the shield are too tall and need trimmed down.

How did the shield work? Any vibration at higher speeds?
