Sport Steering can best be appreciated at higher speeds.

You guys are boring.
Sport steering, shocks and exhaust. 4A with ASS off.
4A? Weaksauce. 2H is where the fun is. 😁 And keep it loud, baja mode FTW!!!

I use 4A so I don't lose traction when beating everyone to the jump at stop lights. :)
I do miss that in my Jeep SRT8. Surprised many a sports cars at stop lights.

My R mode is set to Sport, Comfort, Normal, and Baja with 2H. I might have to try it out and see if it feels any different in 4A.

Is turning auto start / auto stop feature only a feature on the RR or can we do it on our Lariat’s as well? We all just looked at the $100 bypass glove box bypass wire on this forum. If there is a menu selection available I would love to hear about it
This won't be much help but....I looked at the .pdf version of the manual which is very useable and much better than the HTML version. Results are inconclusive in my readings....while non-Raptors (manual has added sections whenever there are Raptor specific functions) do not have My Mode which lets you turn off and save you auto start/stop feature along with several other options. You can of course manually turn off AS/AS in non-Raptors and select various drive modes. Both R and RR return to normal mode when turned off. Raptor allows you to return to your My Mode settings with push of the "R" button. Manual says that on non-Raptors "If you shut your vehicle off in a drive mode other than normal mode, at startup the instrument cluster screen displays a pop-up asking if you would like to return to your last used drive mode. If you select yes to the pop-up, your vehicle returns to the last selected drive mode and the default four-wheel driveline setting associated with that drive mode." But there isn't any indication that AS/AS setting is saved, you'd have to try it.

ASS: Off

The one plus about Sport mode in this truck is it does a better job of rev-matching downshifts in automatic mode so they're not so abrupt. In my prior 21 F150, sport mode was highly clunky on the downshifts coming up to a stoplight. The Ranger Raptor is much more refined in this regard, though not perfect.

Do you have the FP Tune? Seeing improvements for the transmission in all modes. I feel the same about Sport mode as you and it's smoother now with the calibration file applied.

MyRaptor Mode is set to:
Drive Mode: Sport
Steering: Sport
Suspension: Normal
Exhaust: Sport
ASS: Off
Transfer Case: 2A

Winter fast approaching and slick mornings most days I'll be changing to Normal Mode with 4A and no ASS, and change to Slippery with fresh snow or ice.

City and Freeway driving when in metro areas, I put it in full Sport mode across the board.

I actually don't have the tune yet being in California. However, my truck is a late September build, and Ford is does release PCM calibration updates, so it's possible mine has a newer calibration than some of the earlier trucks. I have not found it to be that bad and the fact I'll use being as picky as I am speaks volumes. LOL On my F150, I rarely ever used that mode because of how clunky it was.

My bad, missed the California location info in your profile. I'm happy I only did a 6-year stint in the bay area before coming back to Oregon :)

Also understand what you mean in regard to using that mode when comparing to some other platforms - even pre calibration I thought the shifts were pretty good in Sport.
