Our bumper includes a flip up plate mount. The Rival lights are plug/play with the factory fog light harness. If you wanted to utilize the DRL and Blinkers that are also a function of our lights that would require additional wiring. It''s so tempting to pull the trigger.
I need a front plate in my State, so I'd have to find a decent Fairlead license plate mount and I want the fog-lights/driving lights I choose to be plug-n-play. So there would be a few things to look into on my end, before taking the plunge.
We have not tried installing a factory plate mount but our bumper does include a flip up plate bracket that covers the fairlead.@Rival4x4
If you don’t use the upper light bar, will a stock front license plate bracket still work?
While you can leave the light bar off, there are only the holes for the light bar and the included bracket.I saw you can leave the light bar off. Does this mean there are accessory mounting points there?
Their post above yours with the replies states the lights are plug-n-play with the factory switch. If you want to use their DRL or back-light function there will be additional wiring needed.@Rival4x4
Bumper ordered, can’t wait to get it! The link on your website from the bumper to the Rival 3” lights says they are NOT plug and play for US trucks, is that a typo? I am ready to purchase the lights with the assurance that they ARE plug and play with the stock fog light wiring.
Thanks.
