Raptor audio system

So how is the audio in the Raptor? I see they all get the same system. B&O audio.

I think it's way better sounding than our Lariat Ranger system and the system in my Mustang Mach 1. I wouldn't say it's as good as the 1980s/1990s custom system. But pretty decent for 2024. I think with satellite radio it's pretty damn decent.

It sounds great. The subwoofer is lacking though.

Its pretty good. The source matters a lot though, which is what a lot of people dont pay attention to. You can see this a lot with siriusxm if you go between channels. If you are on the rap channels, you are going to get more bass not because its rap because its mixed bass heavy. If you go to BPM or the Rock channels, it will change as well.

The system doesnt do a good job of compensating for the version of the song you get like a normal stereo would, which is why it seems flat to most people or not punchy enough.

I also think decent enough, there have been a few posts here of folks replacing the subwoofer and saying big improvement. Looked a bit more work than I care to do for now. Favorite sound for me is pressing the exhaust button to Sport.

It’s passable with a good source. A little too center focused, and the sub is anemic. My last vehicle had a 19 speaker Harman Kardon system that was much better.

Good enough it isn’t high on my list of things to address. Going to replace it eventually along with sound deadening and still undecided on driver sizes etc.

Day to day driving the exhaust note satisfies me more, especially after applying the FP tune.
