Like others…. when I received my new RR I had several issues listed below. The Dealer corrected these assembly issues at one appointment. Back to loving my Ranger Raptor.

Issues:
Steering wheel off center. The alignment was out both toe and caster.
Assembly Foam left between cab and bed: removed
Rear tailgate Raptor Emblem crooked. Replaced
Hard to close hood: Adjusted latch.

Back to Happyville .

My alignment is off as well along with hard to close hood and my rear doors do not lock. Sending her in Friday hopefully everything is easy to correct

Great post - thanks Steve.
I'm a little confused re: the bed foam. I have it on mine, also, but I've seen posts where owners have been told it's supposed to be there and posts like yours, where not so much. It looks totally out of place so I tend to agree with you. Can you tell me if you were told there's a removal bulletin from Ford or did your dealer just agree with the "out of place" opinion?

The Dealer did NOT elaborate on a TSB but confirmed it was for shipping ?
As an update on my post I still have hard closing hood, so this has not been corrected as they claimed it had. Still need to drop it from 2 feet to close! Stay tuned

my concern about the foam is it could hold moisture and cause potential rust.

Wondering if anyone has received other info regarding this bed foam. The other day I was looking at how my drain hoses were positioned for my bed cover and happened to notice the white foam between the cab and the bed that was mentioned in this post. It looks out of place and as others stated, seems like it would collect moisture/debris/etc. Didn't try yet to poke a stick at it to see if it moves around.
