Selling these Foutz Tie Rods as I am helping a company develop some suspension components and no longer need these.

2000 miles on them.

I would prefer to sell local than ship.

Located in Redondo Beach, California.

The main reason is cause the OEM tie rods are super weak. They have been breaking a lot for anyone who actually offroads their rangers. Half tie rod kits are pointless on these rangers cause the breaking point where these tie rods snap is past the half point where it is skinniest. Even if you got a reinforcement sleeve for it I wouldn’t trust it. These eliminate the possibility of you snapping one out in the desert and are bullet proof.

They are waste of money with a factory steering rack. The factory tie rods are designed to break so that the rack doesn’t.
With these tie rods, if you were to hit something that would otherwise break your factory tie rods, your rack would snap instead…

Broken tie rod is fixable in the field, broken rack isn’t…

Better hold on to for dear life when you snap a tie rod then so you don’t mess up that 2.0 steering rack. Both are weak points.

If you jumped your ranger and landed sideways or hit a boulder as an example of when the factory rods would break then you could maybe mess up the electronic power steering or a bearing within the steering rack; it wouldn’t snap the steering rack as you mentioned..

74weld steering rack would be great to match with these but not looking into one of those until I am out of warranty.
