I haven’t picked dates yet, but thinking spring time would be best. I know one of the FB RR Owners group admins from Portland, and he’s thinking of going in the spring too. Be fun to get a PNW group there!
I plan on going in spring as well, also Central/Southern Oregon area!

@Arsenall11 and @Austinquick - early 2025 registration opened up. I’m leaning towards May 15-16. Pinged an old coworker of mine in PDX who owns a RR and admins a RR FB group to see what days he’s considering, and awaiting his response. Any dates look appealing to either of you (or no go time slots)?

May 15-16 looks good for me, I don't have any no-go dates this far out thankfully. I'll check in with my wife to see if I'm missing anything. May 3rd is my only no-go so far.
Edit: down to drive, that would be a fun caravan.

Yes, thinking about driving out there, I originally planned on flying until I realized others from the area might want to make the journey and that sounds like a good time to me.

So 5/1-2 option is out for you then.

The 5/11-12 option won't work for me with work obligations, and 5/27-28 is mid-week after Memorial Day so likely not an ideal option for me either.

Maybe April 24/25 is good for everyone? My buddy in PDX said he's pretty flexible and liked the idea of May weather wise. April has a higher chance of precipitation.

April is good for me too, nothing on the calendar so far! Precipitation might make the course a little more rowdy.

I am debating whether to attend at all, as the driver you are fully liable for the replacement cost of your loaner RR, plus any additional damages to people or property. If you buy their liability insurance ($85) you are "only" liable for $5000. I am having a hard time getting my head around this. Even if you have their insurance, and a front tire blows when you are landing that jump and the truck rolls, you still have to pay $5K.

If I am hooning around on fast ranch roads, or low range crawling on a forest road, in my own truck and damage it, there is a very good chance my insurance will cover it. NO way does that apply to a dedicated off-road race school.

Does this bother anybody else? Have there been any serious accidents there?

I get that, but I feel like FP wouldn't set this class/experience up as something that is too risky for the vehicles or drivers. I think this is more of an 'Influencer showing off' or something like that, where there is negligence involved. To my knowledge, we haven't heard of anyone getting burned by this. I'm personally going into this thinking it'll push my skills, but everything I'm doing is in a controlled environment.

Watch me be the first person to accidently roll one at the class now...

You're also not driving when they do the actual jump, the instructor is. I just came back from this class in November and I believe you'll regret not going. It was a blast seeing the potential of the RR and also meeting others that purchased the same truck from all over. I personally did not get the insurance , but you'll have to make that decision on your own. As Nike says, Just Do IT....

I went ahead and booked for May 15th/16th. My friend from PDX is likely going to fly out rather than drive.

I plan to drive out there the 14th and stay 2 nights at the recommended Comfort Inn most likely which I still need to book. Then I'll be looping down through St. George on the return trip to visit a good friend who just moved there. If anyone wants to caravan from the NW let me know and we can figure out a rendezvous enroute to Tooele.
