Good morning, new to this forum with a question about recent orders.
I put in an order for a Lariat with the 2.7 mid-February, received the confirmation notice the same day, so I’m approaching the “45 day” mark for the build notice, at least according to my local dealership.
My question is for anyone who put their order in late January/early February. Did you/have you received your notice relatively close to when you expected it? The reason I ask is having seen a few of the weekly production schedules posted here it would appear there may be an issue with the 2.7 availability, if I'm understanding it correctly, and I also noticed that there had been a factory pause the first two weeks of March.
I'm not in a rush, but, I also don't want to wait months for other issues to arise that may not be apparent right now.
I have an option on a 2025 Raptor that is at the dealership right now for pretty much the same money, given all the options that were ordered with the Lariat. I'm just not crazy about the color, but, I'm an adult and could live with it if it meant getting a truck sooner rather than later.
Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance and glad to be a part of this forum. It's my second Lariat, first one I purchased was in 2020, it's interesting to read about all the improvements/changes made since I traded it in last year.
