Well, you have been given the info that the priority can be changed. It is up to you what you do with it.
I will say that sometimes in life to get what you want, you have to push people and that sometimes mean pissing them off by either making them get off their lazy butts or hurting their ego's that they are wrong and to correct it.
Dealer Salesmen are just glorified key retrievers for the test drive and the finance guy secretary for the paperwork setup. 80% of the deal is done by the sales manager and finance. So do not just accept what a salesman says as final or correct because many times it is not.
I would tend to disagree with the opinion on salesmen... I happen to be very informed and between myself and our finance guy, we do 95% of the work, manager does about 1% and our owner RDR's it with Ford. I do know there are some bad apples out there, but believe it or not, some of us know what we are doing and are decent human beings as well as customers ourselves.
